I used them to change the color of led lights. Not sure about gel.

Is this cellophane thick enough too create henna cones?

Can you use this wrap baking goods?

Absolutely. I wrapped brownies in it this past weekend. The color does not run and it looks fabulous. I did cut the sheets in half, though, because they are big. I love these cellophane sheets!
