Great loud short bursts of sound!
Used to scare off bear, he left so fast that his claws left scratch marks in the wood. Gives off great short bursts of sound but freezes up if you just hold the button down. After it warms up it’s good to go again. Have used on bears and raccoons with great effect!

Tiny But Powerful
I got this specifically for hiking in the woods with my dog. We had a bear run-in recently, and although I did not need to use the bear spray, having something more powerful than my yelling for it to go away would have been helpful. This specific Bear Horn is made by the same people who make the Bear Spray. It is tiny and packable in my knapsack, or my hip (fanny) pack, and even fits into the leg pockets on my cargo pants, but is extremely loud. Worth the peace of mind alone!
