This is the right tool for the job. I know because I first tried another tool that was not. This spammer wrench is heavy duty and properly fit on my washing machine tub nut. My tub nut was very tight and I had to hammer on this wrench the whole way off…. Not just a hit or two to get it loose. Even though I may not use it again, it was worth the price just to be able to get that nut off without damaging it or injuring myself. The first wrench I bought was dangerous and after an entire day of frustration it didn’t budge and destroyed that tool but this spammer wrench moved the nut immediately and I had the nut off within a half hour of it being delivered. Don’t risk injury or damage to your tub nut by trying to use a workaround or a cheap tool… this one did the job perfectly and I wish I had got it first.

Cons: casting not high precision. Beating on stuck aluminum spanner nut caused slots in nut to deform some because wrench's lugs weren't a perfect fit. Pros: heavy duty, robust wrench. It stood up to incredible intensity and ammount of hammering very well. In the wrenches defense, the spanner nut was so frozen I had to cut it off. It might not have deformed a normal nut. Worked great putting on new nut. Good value. I'm confident wrench will stand up to lots of brutally hard use.

My old washing machine was in trouble. We washed a blanket and it disintegrated in the machine, leaving debris everywhere. This tool was the only way to unlock the main shaft and remove the drum. I had to soak the shaft in penetrating oil and then took a hammer to this very strong tool and it performed super well. A half a dozen knocks later, the nut came off. This is also the right tool to replace the nut and a couple of bangs later, it was secured again. The right tool makes all the difference and the cost was super low. I could not have done the job without it.

Had to prefer a different tool but once right it work to perfection!

Delivery was quick and the wrench worked, but the casting/metal quality is very low. Metal flakes off very easily and gets everywhere, even from just holding the wrench.
