Teacher Review
I teach sixth grade (moving from math to science). I love this book. There are some great grade level appropriate activities. Most activities require a few minors supplies. You will probably have a lot of what you need and they do a great job of providing methods that don’t require extra unnecessary supplies. (Supply examples, magnifying glass, litmus paper strips, chromatography paper strips, pencil) Overall, I would say these are activities I might use as fun after testing activities or when I finish a unit on Thursday and don’t want to start a new unit until Monday.

Great resource for any law class
While not specifically written for high school students, I have been able to use these cases in my Introduction to Law class and students have been interested and engaged in trying to solve the cases.

Neat activities, interesting
Several fun projects that are hands-on and engaging. If you’re using in a homeschool, note that you may need to recruit some friends to help on some activities. For example, one activity walks you through handwriting analysis. To really complete the activity, you need handwriting samples from 5-6 other people on one workbook page. Ideally this is great for a small group/co-op or a large family.

Interesting
My kids homeschool and I bought this as an extra science. It's good for the value and informative without being over the top. The only problem we have is there is no definitive answers.

It’s ok.
The biggest negative for me is that each of the scenarios doesnt have a clear answer. They say things like “both Mary and Ellen could be strong suspects”. I wish there were just one clear suspect.

One of the Best Science Courses Available
Definitely one of the best science courses I have purchased for homeschooling my kids. Perfect if your child(ren) is/are budding scientists & love solving a good mystery. In my opinion, every school should teach this course to give kids a crack at critical thinking skills, problem solving & develop a love for all things science

Great for Middle School
I haven't used it yet; but, I've looked through it thoroughly and have decided to go with this book for my summer school forensic course. Excited! There are 10 case studies, varying amounts of time. You are given a materials list for each lab which should be pretty easy to obtain a majority, if not all, at nearby stores.

Ok
Naja. Das ist alles etwas banal. Die Illustrationen sind jedoch sehr gut und die Beispiele praktikabel. Hätte aber mehr erwartet

Really more for in school learning rather than at home
I didnt realize that this was made for use in schools not really great for at home, the list on items you need are sometime unattainable for the average person, but I liked reading through the book and it gave me some great homeschooling ideas.
