From the Manufacturer This seat features vinyl dipped chains, providing added comfort for little hands. Complete with hooks for chain connection. Swing Hangers sold separately Review: A+ product, Don't buy if you are not handy. - I LOVE IT! THe quality of this swing is excellent, it came just as pictured with long chains, and it was easy to figure out after reading the instructions. I assume you will need to do exactly as I did if you have a normal swingset. The top of the chain was rubberized, a nice touch. All around I find this a wonderful quality product. The seat is very comfortable for my 4 year old Big framed boy. He can sit and swing by himself, those plastic cheapy seats are dangerous, and not fun. Also, I am a 200 lb man and I have sat on the swing because my son thinks its funny, and the swing held up :) TOOLS: A) Let's face it, you are going to have to cut the chain links to fit your swingset height (cut the end that is not rubberized). I used a cutting wheel/blade, although I am not the confortable that with it. You have to do this unless you want extra chains hanging down the the ground. B) You will have to have some large pliers to crimp the ends. (ALthough I did not) Just dont let the kids throw the swing in the air and everything will be fine. The downward pressure keeps the swing together. Review: Don't let the negative feedback fool you! - I bought three of these and by reading much of the feedback i feel it was a great choice. The swing seat is fairly comfortable and very heavy duty and with two chains going thru it is very strong and balanced as well and the chain going up from the swing is actually welded link chain and not that cheap twisted wire chain. they are well worth the money! NOW, here is the problem with them and it is a small one if you know how to deal with it. the small loops in the V shaped brackets are not crimped all the way closed so you can fit the chain into place as you put them together and if your kids get too crazy like kids often do on playground equipment the hooks can come off of the chains thru the seat. SO here is the simple fix for the problem, pull the chains thru the seat and hook it all together then take a hammer and put the bracket on a hard surface like a sidewalk and pound the loops all the way closed and you are done. You can also pinch then closed in a vise if you have one. Now the chain can not come apart and life is great because your kids will love them and stay out of your hair for long periods of time while they swing. My kids have twisted the chains with two kids on the seats and played games jumping from one swing to the others and they have held just fine. the metal brackets are actually very stiff and thick metal so once you bend them closed you will not get them open ever again without some serious effort. IF you feel you are capable or know someone who is then go ahead and buy them you wont regret it. I am buying more just to have on the shelf for when these wear out, that is how impressed i am with them.

Great purchase!
After reading all the reviews I was still unsure about this purchase. But I decided to go for it, knowing I could always return it. I'm so glad I did! This is a great swing seat! We used them to replace our old swings on our swing set. It took me 5 minutes to put them together and hook them onto our swing set. I love the adjustable chain length, makes it easy to go longer or shorter. They're comfortable and the quality seems great. My kids (and I!) have been swinging all afternoon. And hooray for the awesome price!!

Good for all ages.
This swing is great. Small kids can lay on their bellies and swing and larger kids can sit and swing. One purchaser noted that there is no way to close the attaching 'eyes' because the steel rods are too hard. I found this very reassuring in that it will hold all the weight it advertises. Unlike the picture, if you assemble it so the openings are facing outward then there is no way for it to come apart while a child is swinging. Great swing, I will be ordering two more.

Good swing, ok construction
The seat of the swing is very durable and the chains are also. The only complaint is that the part where the chain attaches to the seat can come off if the child jumps off the swing or it flips upside down. Unless you bend the hooks together (which can't be done without a tool, and serious muscle strenght) the swing can come off....although not while a child is swinging. It's not a safety hazard, more a nuisance.

Works Great
It was exactly what I needed to upgrade the infant seat on our tree swing to a seat for our 4 and 6 year old Grand daughters. They had asked for a "big Kids" swing, so this fit the bill. It went together easily and with the directions I had no problem. The lower part of the hanging chains are covered in vinyl for safety and the unit seems strong enough for an adult! I did need hardware to attach it to the existing tree limb, but that was expected. All n all a nice add on to the tree for our family

Great swing!
We had a swing identical to this on the existing swing set and it has been there for more than 17 years. It is still usable although faded and stained from the outdoors, but we needed more swings. Since this one lasted so long we looked for the same kind. Great buy for the price. Easy to put together and hang. Would buy these again.a

Great Swing!
All 3 of my daughters love these swings. I have a 2 yr old, 4 yr old, and 6 yr old and they swing on them for HOURS! I love the way the chain has been dipped in rubber instead of the old style that incorporates a rubber "sleeve" that the chain goes through. This seems to hold up to the elements much better.
