I purchased the 1" round furniture sliders and used them on my outdoor porch furniture chairs. The ones with the round circular ring around the bottom that are impossible to slide under the table. I mounted them on the small knobs that are on the bottom of the ring that won't slide at all. THESE WORKED WONDERFULl! The porch is carpeted and these slid with and without a person sitting in the chair. Occassionally one would buckle and come off, but was easily reinstalled. I'm not sure how long the adhesive will last, but if they start to come off, I plan to use super glue if needed. Now the grandchildren are able to slide the chairs out to sit at the table.

These are great little casters. Because I have scoliosis, was using furniture casters to move the heavy dining room chair I sit in all the time that is on a thick rug but they are quite large so I tried these little ones. They work fairly well but not as good as the furniture casters; however, a friend of mine uses them on his dining chairs on a wood floor and they work extremely well.

These sliders are small, and fit on the bottom of a chair leg. My hope was to be able to use tham on the bottom of my chairs so I could pull them out easier against the carpet. It is easier, but the things come off. One flipped off and adhered itself to the back of my chair leg. I could probably pull it off, but will likely pull off the finish as well. There may be less problems on hardwood floors.

Works as they should. Just put them on so don't k ow how long they will last but the chairs move nicely.

The chairs moved easily on the rug after I put these on them. However, after one use of the chairs, the sliders came off.

Very good, the perfect size to protect the rugs, excellent quality, and the option of buying a large quantity is very useful for the amount of furniture in the house.

I was so excited about getting these for chairs on carpet. It says right on the site that it is for carpet. Unfortunately, they just didn't work at all. I put them on the legs of my student chairs in my classroom. The administration ordered ones for hard floors, so they wouldn't budge on the carpet. So I stuck these on thinking that they would then slide. They did not. As soon as someone tried to slide the chair they peeled right off. They were OK as long as no one was actually sitting on the chair...which defeats the purpose. It was a waste of my money and I still have the same problem.
