Is this item single use or reusable?

This escape ladder is single-use in an actual fire situation. Although we recommend taking your ladder out of its packaging and testing the hooks on your chosen escape window ahead of time, we would not recommend deploying the ladder ahead of an emergency. The ladder itself has been packed in such a way that it will fully deploy the first time, and if it has been repacked, it may not deploy properly.

Does it have standoffs or stabilizers?

This ladder has a set of hooks designed to secure it over a windowsill, with 2 contact points on the inside and on the outside of the window. This helps to stabilise the ladder on the windowsill. Other than the hooks, this ladder does not have any stabilisers.

Can if fit listed buildings?

This ladder is designed to work with standard-size windowsills in UK properties. Listed buildings are more likely to have non-standard window sizes, so you would definitely need to check the dimensions of your chosen escape window if you live in a listed building. The key measurement is the sill depth of the window, which can be up to a maximum of 34cm to work with this ladder.
