Good Grips Digital Triple Kitchen Timer, Three 100-Hour Counters

This is a great timer. I was worried about the reviews that mentioned it went dark or the screen blank after a minute or so, but those are exaggerations! The screen absolutely still has the time on it!!! it's just no longer lit up/back lit! I've never had a light up timer before so perhaps I'm just used to making sure I have a little light in the room to see the screen, lol? I have always carried my timer around with me if I leave the room and set it down near me wherever I am going to be so I can still see the timer. Sure it's different than my previous timers screen that didn't have the backlight capability-- this one has a black background versus the light gray color with black numbers like my previous timer had. But I easily adjusted, lol. I'm not sure what world the people complaining in these reviews are living in but it's clearly not the world I'm living in. Can't see the timer from across the room? Move it closer. Screen doesn't light up? Stop cooking in the dark, lol. These are such weird problems with very obvious solutions but instead of trying a different way, etc. they prefer to come leave a negative review of a very good timer. It's kinda weird, lol. Back to the review, great timer, loud, easy to use, has the ability to do 3 times at a time which is hella helpful. The first timer beeps once repeatedly, the second timer beeps twice repeatedly, and the third timer beeps three times so you know which item needs your attention. It functions great, came with batteries, I love the wedge shape so I can use one hand if need be, it's a great size--it sits on my salt cellar in my kitchen by the wooden utensils. This thing is seriously great and I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the design of yet another OXO product! Definitely recommend!

This timer is great! It is very simple to set. The triple timer lets you track three things easily. Timer #1 has one long beep, #2 has two shorter beeps, and #3 has three fast beeps. When you hear the beeps, you will know whether to head to the kitchen or the laundry, whatever you are tracking. The memory feature is handy. For example, timer #1 remains set at four and a half minutes for steeping my afternoon cup of tea. This unit takes three standard AAAs, so no shopping for some weird coin battery. The display is bright, easy to read, and dims for intervals longer than a minute to conserve the batteries. Pressing any button lights up the display for easy viewing. I'm very happy with this purchase. It is worth the money, and I hope to use it for many years.

We had an old OXO triple timer, the silver colored one that would show the time when not in use. It was problematic, every so often would have to take it apart and clean the keys so they'd work better. The speaker was not all that loud either. But it was working for what we needed. Well the old one speaker totally stopped working, tried to replace it without success. Still wanted a triple timer so did a search and found this one. So far this one seems good, the speaker on max setting is loud can hear it from the other rooms. Kinda miss having it show the time when not in use but it's not a big deal. The display is hard to see if the light isn't hitting it right if the backlight is off, unlike the old timer where it was easy to see. But it's easy to turn on the backlight, I've been using the timer select button. My wife is annoyed by the location of the 0 button and I agree it's not in a good spot, but I can see why they did it that way since they changed the start/stop and clear/memory button layout too. Hopefully the buttons on this one won't need to be cleared periodically to make them work better like the old one did. The old one ate through batteries too, finally decided to start using rechargeables with it. We'll see how this one does, still using the batteries it came with.

This was recommended by Cook's Illustrated. In use, it's been a good timer. Being able to key in the time instead of tapping up and down is terrific (could use a backspace instead of having to clear it all). I like that it starts counting up after your time has come up. You can also just count up. Having three different timers going is a bonus when you have a lot of things going. All of these things and what is it missing? An on/off switch. The display darkens, but never turns off. It bothers me. I pull the batteries and put it in the drawer until the next time. That does not make it totally convenient for spontaneous snacks in the oven. I haven't figured out how to get the display to quit being so dark when the timer is running either.

This model was thoroughly tested by PBS’ America’s Test Kitchen ATK & was their number #1 rated timer. It’s so easy to use that you don’t have to read the instructions, but you will learn several handy things to know if you do! I love that it’s very stable on the counter & sits at an angle to make for easy viewing without having to pick it up. Being able to set 3 separate timers is what makes it a winner in my book, especially for holidays or cooking for a crowd when you’ve got multiple items in the oven. I bought it as a gift for my daughter & liked it so well that I bought one for myself! Overall, OXO products are very high quality but are still very reasonably priced! i highly recommend it !! It will absolutely be the last timer you ever need to buy!

I used to be able to unconditionally recommend Oxo products. But, after purchasing this timer, that’s no longer the case. I own the previous model and it was a delight to use. Big, easy to press buttons, and a display was easy to see. The new model’s display is hard to read; in an attempt to increase battery life the LEDs are barely visible when the LEDs are off and, when on, the timer on the display’s brightness times out very quickly and the time(s) remaining are very difficult to see. You have to press one of the buttons to illuminate the LEDs each time you want to read them. In the previous model the “0” on the keypad, probably the most used button, was centered below the “8” as on most keypads. On the new model it’s to the right of the “9” and more awkward to use. On the previous model the Clear/Memory button and the Stop/Start button were separate and to the right of the “0” but on the new model the “Start/Stop and “Memory/Clear” buttons are one button and you have to press either the top of the button to select “Start/Stop” or the bottom of the button to select “Memory/Clear”. If you don’t press the top or bottom of the button in just the right place nothing happens, you have to press it again. All this while other things are going on in the kitchen and you need to get to them before something burns. And the new model is longer and its width is about the same, so it takes more space in a drawer, for no increase in functionality. Because of its dark color it's harder to find in a dark kitchen. It also feels flimsier to the touch. It's a big step backwards so I suggest that you look elsewhere for a 3-time kitchen timer. Sad.

We bought a replacement for the one we had for over 10 yrs. I figured with oxo we get at least that so i didn't buy the protection plan. Bought this one one September 21, 2025. Died a couple of days ago on April 22, 2026. Boy what junk. Oxo's standards have dropped drastically. What a waste of $31. Not only are we out $31 I have to find a replacement because I use this daily. Sometimes more than once a day. When we got it I called because there wasn't a clock function as the past model had. Less for more! Now really less it didn't even last a year. Is there a warranty for this item?

I love this timer... I have not found another one with 3 individual timers that can be set by keying-in the time. The "count-up" function is really useful too. I have used the previous model since 2018, and it is still going strong. This version improves on a few points: the clock which drifts quickly is gone, and the volume can now be adjusted. On the other hand, it is now quite difficult to get an indication of the remaining times by just glancing at the display: it is now hardly readable without the backlight, which turns off after a minute and requires a key press to turn back on. I do not understand this design choice: having a classic black-on-silver LCD panel like the previous model would have been so much better.

Oxo usually hits home runs on most of their products. I've always been pleased with their kitchen tools. So i took a gamble on this new version of their trio timer, despite seeing the other poor reviews here. I use it daily for cooking. It's not even a month old and the display is spoilt. Swapped out fresh batteries - twice ! Still didn't work. When it did work, it was decent. Buttons are well spaced out so even with fat fingers there won't be accidental button presses. I don't like the inverted display. The visibility is not good and when you're not viewing it head on, the digits are fuzzy. The traditional display is way easier on the eyes. This unit is bulky so be sure to measure your usable space. The alarm speaker ain't that loud, so if you're in a really noisy environment, you might find it lacking. The alarm tone is not intrusive; it's a pleasant gentle tone (NOT what you want in an alarm timer) If this actually lasted me a year i would rate it 5/10. But considering it didn't even last a month, it deserves a 1/10. Oxo, you can surely do better

I am very happy with the timer. I like the three countdown and count up timing options. I like how it sits on the counter, also the little rubber feet that stop it from sliding when pressing the buttons. I only wish it had an LCD display which could stay on with very little battery drain. Instead of the very bright glow display which is easy to see when it is on but turns off after one minute to save battery life. All in all I still like this timer and would recommend it to anyone who accepts the inconvenience of having to press a button to turn on the display.

Very good timer. Easy to use, clear screen, multiple timers, memory for the time. Only negative is not having the option to stick it to the fridge with magnets.

This is the best timer I ever owned and better than all the alternatives I saw, so it deserves 5 starts. But it could be even better and I'd be happy to pay a bit more for some improvements. First of all, the light is on only for a short period of time after you press some buttons, and then if any timer has less than one minute left. It would be nice if the light was always on when a timer is running, or at least if a timer has less than 10 or 20 minutes left. I doubt this would change the battery life a lot and, if it did, then the timer should just take an extra battery. Even better, the screens could be e-ink (which are quite cheap nowadays). Another improvement could be having different sounds for different timers. Beeeeep ... beeeeeep for timer 1, beeep beeep .... beeep beeep for timer 2, and beep beep beep ... beep beep beep for timer 3. Finally, it would be nice it the timer were waterproof so it could be easy to wipe it clean.
