OXO Good Grips Adjustable Liquid Measuring Cup, 2 Cup Capacity

I am glad to finally have one of these adjustable measuring cups! I used one for baking when visiting my family for the holidays and it made it so much quicker and easier, especially for things like peanut butter! It gets everything out easily so you dont have to scrape the sides forver to get it all out for proper measurement. I have other OXO kitchen items and they are all excellent quality and very durable. It has a slide track that rotates up and down to adjust to the desired amount. It does have a small stop area before it slides completely out making it easy to use as well as to clean. I also love that it has one side with liquid measurements and the other for dry. It leaves a gap at the top for liquids so that you can get appropriate amount without it easily spilling over. The writing is bold and stands out making it very easy to read. The product label left a sticky spot on the side from the glue, however Goo B Gone easily took it off! I highly recommend this OXO 2 cup adjustable measuring cup.

This adjustable measuring cup is perfect for me and just what I was looking for to measure peanut butter and other items that are hard to get out of a standard measuring cup. I make tons of peanut butter cookies/treats and this works great. I have not had any problem with the printed measurements washing off or rubbing off. I use extremely hot water to wash my dishes and have used this numerous times. I also like the twist and push method of getting the peanut butter out of the measuring cup. I have had no issue with the measuring cup sliding up, down, or tilting. As with any product such as this it will be top heavy and can tip over but it is sturdy. I like the OXO brand and I have their 3 nestling measuring cups with no issue of the measurements fading on them either. I highly recommend if you measure ingredients that are difficult such as peanut butter, honey, yogurt, sour cream. I would not recommend using this for liquids such as milk, water, broth etc. I got this adjustable measuring cup for solid foods only. Also wet and dry measurements are not the same. That is why there are separate measuring utensils for wet and dry ingredients.

Hard to use with things like crisco or mayonnaise bc it moves/doesn’t stay at the measure you set but otherwise great

The measuring cup is perfect for the sticky stuff--Crisco shortening, peanut butter, honey, ketchup, Karo Syrup, etc. Nothing is left in the cup when the bottom is rotated upwards. The cup is also good for combining different ingredients at one time. A fourth cup of mayonnaise, a fourth cup of ketchup, and whatever else can all be combined together in the measuring cup, and everything goes out at the same time. Great device!!

The idea of this makes a ton of sense. It's easy to use, put together and take apart and washing and storing super easy. The problem is that the cups slip around if what you're putting in it is thick (like peanut butter) and they tend to come apart when you're pushing it, which means your hands get all gross and it's too gunked up to reattach. Brilliant concept that doesn't quite hit the mark. Probably works great for more thick liquid things (like honey or condensed milk) but I really wanted a solution for peanut butter and this doesn't really cut it.

Had to replace the old one because i crushed it in the drawer but it works amazingly

Great measuring cup with dry and liquid markers. Separates to go in the dishwasher.
