This was the first time I'd bought one of these and a difficulty level 5 was a steep learning curve. I recommend buying the snippers and needle nose pliers and the auxiliary tool kit from piececool too a without them this would have been almost impossible. Some of the pieces in this kit are absolutely tiny and required 3 or 4 bends. I soon purchased a magnifying headband with interchangeable magnifiers with different strengths of magnification as I think without it I wouldn't have been able to complete this. I made a few mistakes and it took me around 20 hours to complete this but the finished product is great. It's sturdy and amazingly detailed. The instructions are easy enough to follow and putting the pieces together is fairly simple. This is not an easy project to complete. You will need the tools and I recommend a magnifier for the smaller pieces and a steady hand but I thoroughly enjoyed completing this project and will complete more in the future. If you want a challenge this is definitely for you.

After working my way up from easier models of this type I thought I would challenge myself. Definitely need the tab twisting tool for this one. I find some patience, some walking away and coming back a day later, helps with building these more complicated ones. This went well until right at the end when trying to fit it on the base and the various twists in connecting pieces meant it wasn't just quite flat along the bottom. But gently pressing here and there and tightening the bottom tabs means it looks near perfect. This is not easy to hold without bending tiny spires once it is starting to take shape, but in the end, well wort the effort, and looks very well. Especially after I put a small led light in the centre of it.

Amazing when finished but a steep learning curve - l recommend getting some decent pointed pliers, the bending and shaping Rod kit and a decent magnifying glass which is hands free and had led lights to work with as some of the parts are tiny and need to be shaped and fitted into place. This kit kept me occupied for hours and l have purchased a couple more - keep an eye out for the special deals Amazon has on these and they can be bought for a great price - l just bought the "Black Pearl" for less than £14.00.

If you have the patience of a saint, the eyesight of a chameleon (it has the highest image magnification and the most specialised close-up focus among vertebrates), the manual dexterity of a vascular surgeon, excellent lighting, a good set of tools, including magnetic trays to help catch some of the pieces that will fly out of your tweezers as you pick them up, and a good torch to help you find said pieces (some only a couple of millimetres across and which, for their size, can travel quite far) then you might possibly succeed. The instructions are not the easiest to follow and are not as clear as one would like when it comes to folding some of the very small pieces. Sometimes, it would take me 10–15 minutes and several attempts to fold one piece, with several breaks to calm down. Also, buy a glue like Loctite or similar to stick back on the pieces that break off. Be prepared to use a lot of bad words. A real challenge of willpower and perseverance. I chose this as my first model which wasn't a good idea in hindsight but I can't see me having the will to take another one on.

I bought this for my 14-yr old son and found myself so jealous watching him make it that I bought one for myself! I highly recommend buying the Piececool tools to help make this and, even then, it is challenging due to its incredibly small parts. The packaging is very nice and the instructions are very easy to follow. All-in-all, the design of the entire product is superb. I'm not finished it yet but I'm really enjoying seeing the model grow - the detail is amazing! I'm not sure how long this will take to finish but I certainly feel I've got good value for money!

Cracking puzzle, lots of very intricate detail. Not for you if you have sausage fingers. Really nice product

Pieces are v small and fiddly so it’s not for the fainthearted. A couple broke due to repetitive accidental folding so that was disappointing, but otherwise I love the detail on this and I think it will look amazing once finished. I wouldn’t call it a jigsaw puzzle though, it’s really a model, that you need a couple of tools to build.
