Anyone know the i2c device id for this module?

There is no manual. There are four connection points. Refer to generic I2C LCD information.

Does this come with pins?

Mike came with pins. They need to be soldered in.

Will this work with particle.io boron?

I dont know about the boron, but the particle photon's pins are A3 & A5
