UPDATE AGAIN!! I reached out to Throttle X and their customer service is excellent! They replaced my battery in a week and now I’m rolling again with a brand new battery! I am happy with this company! UPDATE!!! Do not buy this battery!! It is now dead and didn’t even make it one year! Starts out great but then just dies and will not even take a charge! Better buy the 2 year replacement plan if you buy it!! I went from 5 stars to 1 star in 11 months! Turns the bike over probably better than any other battery I have bought. Im not sure if it's actually 550 cranking amps but it spins the engine well, and faster than the auto part stores batteries. No regrets here, I'd say it's worth the money.

So far, so good! I wanted a more powerful battery for my FatBoy, especially during the cold weather, but was concerned that ordering it online would be a problem if it didn't fit or did not have the power it claimed. I was very please that it is exactly what I needed. the same size as my 310 CCA battery, but with more power. The install is a breeze, with the installed connections being threaded with the standard bolt specifications. (Many other batteries I have used come with no threads and require the use of an undercut to secure the cables. This is particularly problematic on motorcycles because the battery drops down into a recessed opening, and with the very short cables, it is almost impossible to get everything lined up just to get the bolt started.) The only issue still a mystery is "How long will it last?" I always keep track of any maintenance or repairs to my vehicles, and I will post a review if I have a problem. Just so you know.

Came undercharged ,did not turn over strong enough and then the clicking . I hooked it up to a 2amp charger and was better but still weak . I finally got it started with a boost jumper . After a 30 mile ride the battery was now successfully starting . But after sitting a week it lost its charge even on a trickle charger . No sign of a short to explain . Starts right up with a boost there after . And then repeat . Update : Response from Customer Service was prompt and streamlined the process to send replacement . Within a few days I received the battery and installed after the recommended charge. . It starts strong every time . I'm a returning customer and recommend this product and seller . I probably could have got more than 4 yrs had I been more insistent on maintenance charging at extended downtime.

These batteries are remanufactured overseas and distributed by BSI, for the price I would of expected a new battery with new cells, battery arrived in good working order fits perfect in a 2010 fxdc however lifespan will be in question.

This is an excellent battery, with the required AMPS I was looking for. I recently installed a winch on my UTV which requires more AMPS to operate properly so it won't burn up the winch. Most small standard batteries that come with the UTV to operate most winches do not supply the proper AMPS. I used a 3500 lb. winch which, I also installed dual batteries with an isolator to charge both batteries when the motor is running, the auxiliary battery is for the winch only. I won't have to worry about running the main battery down, leaving me stranded and not able to start UTV. You do not want to use an acid filled battery due to a roll over and acid leaks for battery. This is excellent battery for my use. I wired a separate switch from the auxiliary battery to reduce the possibility of battery drain just for the winch solenoid. Most installers do not do this. I call it preventive maintenance. The supplier shipped it well packaged and a very prompt. I would highly recommend the supplier and the battery used as to use for winches, stereos, or any other accessory that requires long period of use.

It worked fine for my 2018 Goldwing dct airbag. Until it didn’t. It has lived on a battery tender jr from day one. It holds a little over 12 volts on full charge. It will turn the bike on but doesn’t have the amps to get even one start out of it. So every time I want to start it I have to use a battery jumper battery pack. That is not the life a battery should ever have. I have ordered a different brand. If I find out with the new battery there’s a problem as well I will update this review. It is my assumption I the problem will not repeat because with the bike running at idle the alternator is putting out about 14.5 volts. So i then bought a battery tester. Its tests that I repeated more than once said to replace battery which I assume it has a dead cell in it. The way these things are designed you can’t open it to test the acid level inside without destroying the plastic cover on top. So that’s about all the trouble shooting I know to do. First and last time using this brand.

I upgraded my 05 Softtail with the Screaming Eagle 95" kit and gear drive cruiser cam's and had starter problems from day one. The bike wouldn't start without being jump started in temps less than 45 degrees. The Oil Can on the FLSTCI prevents installing a heavy duty starter and I thought I was doomed or stuck with changing the heads so I could accommodate compression releases. I saw this battery and had a thought, maybe more CCA will give the stock starter enough power spin the motor without kicking out and making horrible embarrassing sounds. The stock Harley starter spins the motor effortlessly now and the bike pop's to life even on cold days. I can ride to Flagstaff AZ again and even let it sit for a week and it still starts right up no problem at all. I bought another one for my wife's Dyna because it made such a night and day difference with mine and got the same results. If you've installed a performance package in your Harley and need to give your starter the extra power it needs to start the bike without burning a starter up every year this is your battery.

I needed a new battery for my '07 HD Dyna Street Bob. Saw all the positive review for this one (and read the very few bad reviews) and decided it was worth a shot. The battery was shipped in a very well padded box. Solid Styrofoam packing all around the inner box. The batter came with new bolts, in case your old ones were crappy. Had a full charge, and was a perfect fit. My bike started right up after attaching the wires. I'll have to see how it lasts after a few months and update here.
