I had forgotten how cheaply a good pair of IEMs could be and how these blow away every wireless earbuds I've tried, including ones from Sennheiser that cost ten times as much. Nothing beats a good pair of wired earbuds and I cannot BELIEVE these were only $20. Excellent quality sound, I've not tried the mic yet though, and the only concern I have is durability might be a problem but it feels competently made and is cheap enough that by the time these break (if they break) then a replacement won't be an issue. Highly recommended! These are definitely my new favorite Steam Deck accessory too ;)

When I got the earbuds they sound clear but not much bass. I’m using a fiio DAC and changed the tips to foam and they now sound great with plenty bass.

I use this for my microphone and it works really well. Super clear sound and fits snug in my ears. 10/10!

good quality, no complaints a year+ later

With this brand, I have/had other models, and I bought this model considering it was cheaper than other models. The sound quality is the worst I've experienced with this brand. It was like listening to someone from the background. Giving 3 star for the brand and it's functional.

I love Sennheiser. I have their MOMENTUM True Wireless 4 earbuds and CX 300S headphones. Both are SUPERB. I needed an affordable set for work Teams calls, and these seemed like the ticket. I was stunned how awful they were being from Sennheiser. They sounded like $3 headphones you buy at a gas station.

After 5 years its time to replace my ear buds with a new pair of the exact same. By far the longest lasting and best wired ear buds on the market for $20. I learned about this brand from a YouTuber and its now the only brand I trust for quality.

I picked up these Sennheiser CX 80S earbuds because I wanted a reliable wired backup for my phone, laptop, and travel bag without spending too much. Mostly, I needed something simple for music, calls, video meetings, and casual listening when I didn’t feel like dealing with charging wireless earbuds. After using them for a while, I’d say they pretty much met my expectations. The sound quality is balanced and clear, which seems to be one of the main things buyers consistently mention. Vocals come through nicely, podcasts sound clean, and most music genres feel natural without overly boosted bass. If you like heavy bass, these may feel a little restrained, but for everyday listening, they sound solid and easy on the ears. They also do a decent job with passive noise isolation once you get the right ear tip fit. Comfort is another plus. They’re lightweight, sit securely, and work well for commuting, office use, online classes, or even light workouts. The in-line remote is convenient for taking calls or pausing music, though the controls are basic. Call quality is generally clear enough for regular conversations. On the downside, the cable can tangle more easily than I’d like, and while the build feels decent, it doesn’t feel especially premium or rugged. Some long-term users mention durability could be better with heavy daily use. Also, these aren’t for anyone expecting premium-level audio detail or deep bass performance. For the price, though, I think they offer good value. You’re getting dependable wired performance, recognizable sound quality, and practical everyday functionality without paying extra for features you may not need. Overall, these are a good choice if you want affordable wired earphones for daily practical use, especially for calls, commuting, or casual music listening.

Bad sound and zero aesthetics. Older versions are much better. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this product.

Unos audífonos muy básicos, pero que tienen una muy buena calidad de sonido. Es un sonido bastante equilibrado, con muy buena distribución de frecuencias y que se escucha muy claro; los medios y agudos se escuchan muy claros y no se distorsionan, los bajos cumplen, sin embargo, no tienen tanta potencia, por lo que, si buscas un sonido con mayor presencia de bajos, este producto no es para ti. En construcción, están bien realizados, y tienen una presentación decente. Un punto importante a mencionar es que el cable es algo delgado, y aunque la longitud está bastante bien recomendaría que se traten con cuidado y no se doblen excesivamente. Cuenta también con un botón de control que te permitirá reproducir, detener, cambiar de canción, cambiar de pistas y contestar/colgar llamadas, el botón responde muy rápido; en ese mismo módulo se encuentra el micrófono. Los probé con mi celular usando un conversor UGREEN USB-C a 3.5mm, que tiene un DAC de 32-bit/384kHz, usé principalmente música en formato M4A y Opus, algunos convertidos de fuentes de alta fidelidad (archivos FLAC de 48kHz), probando diversos tipos de géneros, y puedo confirmar que el sonido obtenido fue de mucha claridad y con muy poca distorsión, instrumentos bien definidos y buena resonancia de las voces. A pesar de ser unos audífonos sin cancelación activa de ruido, logran aislar bastante el ruido exterior solo con las gomas incluidas. Sobre las gomas, vienen incluidos 3 tamaños, es importante que se utilice el tamaño correcto ya que la goma incide directamente en la posición del audífono y a su vez la posición en la calidad percibida del sonido. Aún no lo he probado con llamada o videconferencia, pero esperaría que tampoco decepcione. En resumen, por este precio, considero que obtienes un buen producto, con buena calidad de sonido, muy práctico y fácil de transportar, Sennheiser nuevamente cumple con su calidad.

I bought these headphones to edit on an M1 Macbook Air. These are comfortable, have good sound quality and are lightweight.
