Simple Trending 5-Section Vertical File Organizer, Black

Because the journals/small spiral notebooks on my desk were stacked, they were hard to access without having to dig through the pile. I had tried standing them up with bookends, but my bookends weren't heavy enough and the the journals kept falling over. This item works perfectly to keep them on end and easy to access one at a time. I wish I had thought of doing this a long time ago! My only concern is that the screws to hold the unit together are not flush with the frame. There is a possibility that removing a journal many times will leave a mark on the bottom edge of the cover. This would not be a problem with file folders. I gave the file stand only three stars for assembly because they come with tiny little screws with screw holes in difficult to access spaces. Be patient; it will come together and serve you well. I recommend this product for files or small books and notebooks.

I just received it. It is exactly what I expected. Very easy to screw together. An average Phillips screwdriver and 4 minutes. It fit exactly where I needed it and it's working for our purposes exactly right. It is a cool looking design and sturdy.

I bought this to make it into a charging station for my laptop and larger devices so that they would all be organized and neat in one area for perfect for that purpose perfect height, color and size. I’m very stable for a charging station. The storage capacity was perfect for my Mac Pro. Nothing too heavy for mine nightstand and the stability has been great with 6 devices on them. The assembly was very basic nothing too crazy except six screws. I did need a screwdriver for it. Very simple to put together .

It arrived quickly; it was inexpensive; the screws to assemble it didn't fit the grooves perfectly, but it was acceptable, because I wasn't expecting perfection for this price. If the manufacturere would like a suggestion, I have an idea for how to make this very useful for tekkies.

Easy to assemble. Provides ample file space. Seems pretty sturdy. The parts that keep it just off surface are metal, not coated in any way. Might scratch fine surfaces??? Rubberized would have been better quality. Other than that have been very pleased.

just as good as a Staples one

Have been in need of a sturdy file organizer for the desktop. Plenty of plastic things out there that are usually soft or don't have enough slots, etc. Finally came across this one and read some reviews about screws missing, stripped screw holes and bent pieces. Ordered it anyway and didn't have any issues like those, in fact I have four screws left over in case anyone steals one! Unit is nice and solid, doubt that you could stuff enough files into it to collapse it. My downside is the little ball legs it sets on lets the thing slide all over the top of the desk. A simple bump will send it scooting off somewhere. A solvable problem, but now I have to find some anti-slip stick on things or a pad it can set on. Good purchase though.

The holes (top and bottom) were mis-aligned so that it was impossible to place the second screw. The set was therefore useless. Frustrating and disappointing. The company should look at their quality control.
