These chalk markers work really well and show up bright and clear, especially on dark surfaces and glass. I like that the white color is bold and easy to read without looking streaky or faded. Cleanup is also very simple with a damp cloth, which makes them convenient for reusable boards and signs. Buyers beware! These are great! If you have a handmade chalkboard however, KNOW THIS. They will be a pain to clean off. But thats kind of not a bad thing right! Can't have it both ways! These gravity fed liquid chalk markers may need 2 passes, but I promise you won't have giant puddles of color from having to push the tip down to re wet them! So before you leave a bad review try this instead! Take a fine peice of sand paper or block and go against the texture on your chalkboard. Did it leave dust? Then the markers aren't the problem! Trust me... I just did this. I made a chalk board out of an old picture frame with chalkboard paint from Walmart. It works great for the local Saturday open air market. If you read the directions on the can this all makes a little more sense! The cringe worthy chalk squeak we all remember from elementary school only happens on REAL slate chalkboards. Why? Because they are smoother than a babys bottom. Here's the takeaway.. take the time to properly finish your chalkboard creations and these markers will ABSOLUTELY NOT DISAPPOINT!!! But YOU CANT HAVE IT BOTHWAYS. ZERO PUDDLES or two passes. I LOVE THESE MARKERS AND THEY ARE BUDGET FRIENDLY!!!!! I would absolutely pimp these out every chance I got! The people that took all this into consideration making them, are also great! I got a message less than 24 hours after delivery to confirm that they arrived. We all know that bad deliveries happen and amazon just refunds your money. But because of that, people take advantage. And small business owners are a dying breed. I know this because I am one. i got these so that i could temporarily label spray bottles i use for various things (cleaning, misting, hair care, etc), as well as to date water bottles i keep in the bedroom for those midnight sips that are sometimes needed. i'd been using a white chalk marker i'd received in a label kit, but the white is very difficult to see. i needed something with colour so that glares didn't interfere. enter these markers. the are very vibrant and easy to use (no pre-shaking or depressing the tip to get the "ink" to flow. removal and cleanup was also very easy. if you make a mistake, you can lick your finger (or if that's not your thing, take a damp rag) to remove what you wrote and start again. the outer package gives very clear instructions on what to do if you experience issues with these markers (e.g. already dried upon arrival, damaged, missing, etc) at this point in this set's life with me, i'd highly recommend

The colors are vibrant and easily apply to various surfaces -- with non-porous blackboards, dry-erase boards, and glass among them. They leave a stable track behind and can be slanted enough to allow for thick or thin lines as you draw. They are not sheer in application but provide strong coverage. They don't rub off easily when dry but do wipe clean with a damp cloth. I can attest to that because my granddaughter wiped out my drawing to replace it with her own! I have to note one caveat. Once dry on a regular blackboard surface they become practically indelible because the ink is very strong. The photo of the small blackboard shows what's left after my attempts at scrubbing off with water, alcohol, and then nail polish remover, so I would not recommend using on a traditional classroom blackboard. I'm going to use it on smaller message blackboards, instead. The company-provided information does refer to non-porous blackboards. I rate these with four stars and recommend them for classrooms, art fun, and even mirror affirmations. This company provided excellent customer service, beyond what was expected. I received my order quickly and in good order, and then received a personal message from Alice. She reached out to ask if everything was alright, after having learned of a problem with some orders being misdirected. I think that shows real regard for their customers.

Great smooth writing with this liquid chalk pen..

Ok Alice, Here goes: These were bigger than my old chalk markers (more like a pack of crayola markers) so I'm thinking bigger = more ink? So far so good. Then I go to write and at first they are kinda transparent... uh oh... then I give them a little shake and *BAM* nice and opaque. Good so far. Now I just gotta try out every single color because I've never gotten to have so many in chalk marker form! Fun! Even the dark purple shows up on a black wipe board... cool! So here I am now painting a chalk mural because why not? All these colors, man! Woohoo! Hey, do these come in all pastel colors? Or all neon? That'd be cool too. Then I'm realizing I never have to stop and pump these suckers. They come pre-loaded with what seems to be an endless supply of liquid chalk... holy cow! Nice! Ok I'm hooked. These are my new chalk markers from now on. I use them for labeling leftovers in the fridge, my black pantry label stickers, my magnetic grocery list on the fridge, my clear cookie, nut, and pretzel containers on my counter, my decorative seasonal chalkboard... wow I didn't realize how much I use chalk markers until I made that list... Well, we have used these for a while now and the biggest issue we have is removing the writing from the chalk board. Not sure why but once it’s time to erase our board we cannot get it off easily. The colors and bright and beautiful but we just have this issue with the boards having to be soaked before the ink comes off. Not sure if I’m the only one experiencing this but it is a hassle. Again, the colors are great and they do not dry out but we just wish it was easier to remove.

I purchased these in 2021 and about 4 of them are still in use after heavy usage. I just bought a new set for xmas 2024. Even purchased a set as a gift for someone else. They are vibrant and dry quickly. I use them on my dry erase family calendar, each event is a different color. Easy to remove with window cleaner and a soft cloth. Doesn't smudge after dry.

I hesitated originally as didn’t think these were whiteboard markers. But I ordered these to go on my transparent fridge family organiser boards. They are far better than any normal whiteboard marker and wipe well with water. Really happy with functionality and price.
