Screen Replacement for iPhone SE2020

I'm going to spend a fair amount of time to write this review, so I think that says all you need to know. I highly recommend this product for most people. I will write a brief summary and bullet point the pros and cons while giving context. This screen will get your phone up and running for a ridiculously good value. No, it isn't an OLED. No, it doesn't have the brightness or responsiveness of the OLED. Yes, it fits a bit higher on the phone to make room for the LCD backlight (it's simply how the screen works and is unavoidable). If you want an OLED, it's minimum over 100 bucks. However, I seriously doubt you will even notice these things after awhile. And it comes with everything you need to change the screen (minus a hairdryer or heat gun)! As mentioned before, the screen does not match the OLED in terms of screen quality. But to be honest, there were many times using my phone where I completely forgot that it wasn't an OLED. These differences honestly don't matter for most people. What matters is getting an affordable screen that actually works with no issues. I was really happy with this screen, and actually impressed with the quality I got for the price. You get everything you need, and the screen works great. No issues, and the quality for an LCD is awesome for this price. I was expecting it to be noticeably worse, but I was impressed. Before this screen, I got an OLED replacement, ended up breaking it again, so I decided to try this one and honestly I'd rather save the money and get this LCD from now on instead of the OLED. So, if you really really want an OLED, then go and spend the money. But if all you care about is having a phone screen that actually works and doesn't hinder your ability to use your phone (which is how I imagine most people), then I absolutely recommend this screen. It has saved me twice now and I'm always happy with it. PROS: -VALUE!! -Screen works great out of the box -Screen has pretty good resolution -Screen is responsive enough to not cause any issues day to day -Screen has been bright enough to be used day to day, even outside in the sun -Overall screen quality is sufficient not just for daily use, but for a screen so affordable -Kit comes with everything you need to swap out the screen which is a huge plus (minus blow dryer or heat gun) -Kit comes packed really nicely for a budget screen (Not a huge deal but I liked it) -Installation is flawless. After I watched a video, and taking my time, I had no issues installing the screen. All the hardware, connectors, and dimensions matched up and fit perfectly. CONS: -Screen is not as bright, responsive, high resolution, or colorful as an OEM OLED (but OLEDs are significantly more expensive). -Screen fits slightly higher in the phone chassis (but this is unavoidable, and I never really noticed it after I installed the screen. Additionally, this is purely cosmetic. This causes 0 issues during installation and actually makes removal easier if you need to replace it again.). -LCDs have worse viewing angles than OLEDs -Phone might be consuming more battery and be warmer than usual (noticeable but never was an issue) Overall, if you just want a cheap screen that works and fits easily, this is a great buy.

I was able to successfully fix my son's iPhone 17 Pro with the screen and kit. I looked up a video on youtube and it took about 2 hours to fix. The screws are tiny, but I was able to take it apart and replace the screen. The only issue that I ran into was the seal came off in two parts, so hopefully it is still water resistant. The screen looks good and functions like new. There is a message from apple that pops up saying that the part is not authentic, but that's not a big deal.

Would have given a 5-star if it wasn't so sensitive. Now lets be fair, it is a $25 screen. I got it because i needed it asap, and Cons: -Heats up super faster -Drains my battery 20-30% more -sticks out quite a bit above my actual phone base -Low screen quality, not in pixels but in color wise, has a white ish tint to it. **My only issue for giving it 3 stars: I may have caused more lag spikes on my phone or maybe not, but the screen is WAY to sensitive. It literally clicks buttons and locks itself out in my pockets, have to face the screen away from me for it to stop or do it less. This is what really got me, it clicks around by itself sometimes too. Pros: -Cheap(Also, imporant) -Arrives super fast(important) -Can actually last a while if you be more careful with it, feels fragile, but soo well worth it since i needed it asap -Pretty sure tools are magnetic, not really important for just a screen replacement, since it's only 3 screws. -Bright I guess. Brighter than I thought honestly.

Edit: I received a replacement screen and it works. I have changed my review. Screen is very cheap and functions as a cheap screen. I have gone through 3 different brand screens now trying to find something decent. This screen works. Colours aren’t great. I have used other more expensive lcd screens to get better colours with no problem. This screen gets quite dim but it has a good amount of brightness as well. My first screen from this company had a very limited amount of adjustment with the brightness. This screen feels like it changes at every step in the process so that’s good. My final issue is fingerprints. I tried other screens and was amazed that fingerprints never seemed to appear on my phone. With this screen fingerprints were all over within seconds of touching it. Old review: Screen worked acceptably for about 3 weeks. Today it just went black and won’t turn on again. Battery was still at 80%. I didn’t drop it or anything. Pros about it when I had it. It worked. Didn’t seem too bad but definitely cheap lcd and I got what I paid for. Cons: It only had 4 brightness levels. Low, dim, medium, and almost bright. Another issue was that the colors were. It very accurate. Regardless of True Tone or not the collies just looked bad. I didn’t care since the screen worked but t just suddenly stopped working completely.

After looking at several YouTube videos, it still took an hour to install, which was OK. The most difficult part was getting the screen off, very tough sealant. I finally used a tool with a wood handle which gave be very leverage to lift up part of the screen to get the pick under the glass, then it came off easily. You need to have steady hands and good closeup eyesight to complete the rest. As I was replacing the screen I also had the video on the computer so I could refer to it. All the screws that you remove are the same except for the 2 screws located on the bottom outside the phone which are longer and a different side. The tool that worked the best to remove the adhesive with the wires attached to the phone was the provided longer tool, not the pick. When completed, to my surprise, the phone worked perfectly. Good product. Will save u probably $200-$300.

Very helpful instructions and tools in case you don’t have any. I have my own tools so I didn’t use the tools that came with the set, but they seemed fine. Screen quality was okay, it’s a $20 screen after all, and the added screen protector is a nice add. My only problem was with the waterproof seal, which did not apply properly and I had to use one of my own.

Came as described on listing, work well and look good for the quality and Price. Easy install just be patient due to the wire being super fragile, and the screws can strip easily.

Just replaced my screen this evening so this is only an initial review. Screen looks no different than factory one underneath. Came with all tools you need minus a heat gun or hair dryer. No instructions included, but they are all over the web. Install went smooth, but don’t freak out when the screen doesn’t work when you test it before sealing it. I spent 30 or so minutes realizing I don’t have any logins memorized thinking the screen was defective. As soon as I plugged the phone in, the screen lit up. The color was slightly yellow so you might have to adjust your True Tone in the settings. Will update if anything changes, but so far it is a way cheaper option over 300+ it costs having someone else repair it. Follow up: screen lasted for about 45 minutes until it started malfunctioning. Screen started blurring from the bottom. Was certainly associated with heat. Screen would start showing multiple copies of the screen to the point is was unreadable. Putting it in the fridge for a minute or two and it was back to normal. Would come back no matter the screen brightness and with or without the case or screen protector. Just received a replacement from Amazon and seems to be working but has multiple lighter spots on the screen that are lighter than other the rest. Just went to the sellers “warranty” registration page, but site cannot be connected to. I’ll see how it goes, but I’m not holding my breath.

Work very good for me fit good and easy to install

I paid a lot for this and see after getting it installed, it is howing linings. Yes I got it installed very late but what could have I done? They say they will send me video instruction but neither link not QR code is working that they sent me. Yesterday technician installed it for which I had to pay additional and now I have wasted my 6.5k bucks

Came on time and also has a new tempered glass screen guard to out on when your finished. Comes without any home button but I took off my home button from cracked screen and swapped over. Followed a YouTube video how to do it. Easy enough and took me 30-45 minutes to do
