Is this a 1.75 gallon can or 1 gallon? The listing is confusing me...

The listing Amazon has is incorrect. It is 1.75 gallon.

Can the white one be used for gas? Anyone tried it?

NO, THEY ARE NOT THE SAME! The white 1 gallon tank weighs 1.9 lbs, the red one weighs 2.3 lbs. They are built different for different uses.

Are the water cans the same dimentions as the 1.75 gal gas cans? 3.6x13.4x14.9

I have tried to get Amazon to correct this listing, but apparently it isn't important to them. The one gallon water is 14 x 9 x 3 1/8. The 1.75 water is 15 x 13 1/8 x 3 1/2.
