CSCS Exam Preparations
This is a great study tool in preparing for the CSCS exam. It gives verbal, visual, and written instructions (demonstrations) on performing each exercise. Also, it provides common errors when performing exercises. However, the only downfall is if you viewing from the Kindle app on an android device youโre not able to access the video content. I was able to access the content using my apple devices (iPhone). Also, when using your Apple device to hear the audio you must use your AirPods, earphones, or headphones. (At least that was the only way I could hear the audio). Other than that I would recommend!!!

Highly Recommend for the CSCS Exam Prep!!
A must have for the CSCS exam prep and for life in the strength and conditioning field! Provides step by step instruction and pictures. PLUS, all 70 exercises are available in video online! It was worth every penny!

Where to find videos on Kindle App for Mac?
Great reference, but still confused on how to access the videos on the Kindle app for Mac? Any help is much appreciated!

A good reference that needs some improvement
This review is for the Kindle etextbook version of the book. I bought this book as a reference for proper resistance training techniques for various exercises and to help prepare for the NSCA-CPT exam. I haven't been able to view the video content through the PC Kindle app or the Mac Kindle app (i.e. I don't see a video that can be clicked/tapped on at the beginning of each section like I do with my Kindle Fire Tablet). I can view the videos on my Kindle Fire Tablet. It would be great to access the videos online without the need of a Kindle. If this is possible, please reply in the comments. The videos explain the correct movement of the exercise in detail, showing variations and common errors. It would be great to have a split view showing the frontal view and a profile view of the exercise, like the NSCA has for several exercises on their website. There are also mistakes in the demonstration techniques that are not part of the common errors instructional portion of each video. One example of these mistakes is for the dead-lift demonstration - the lifter demonstrating has his hips higher than they should be and his grip uneven. The voice-over narrator makes the note "Note the lifter's hips should be lower and his grip should be more even, than what's seen in the video" Again, this is during the supposedly correct demonstration of the exercise, not during the common errors, which are shown at the end of each video. A correct demonstration should have been filmed.

Truly terrible
The book barely offers any good information on technique at all. I wouldn't even say this provides enough to be considered a basics book. It's more of a description of what the movements are like than a manual of proper technique, adjustments, cues etc that you would expect out of a book on exercise technique. Don't waste your money, because in my opinion, it's not even enough information to get you started safely. It's more of a description.
