I was dubious of this due to several reviews saying it didn't;t work. I had an expensive optical device with a stripped hex head. I chose the smallest drill that would barely fit in the stripped head. Then went to the same size extractor and it just spun, no extraction. I then switched to the next largest extractor bit and it immediately removed the screw. Make sure you run the drill in reverse, at low speed for both drill and extract and if it doesn't work initially, move up to the next size extractor bit.

Amazing did the trick!!! After one hell of a night, this bolt snapped off of our “adult”pleasure machine... yes it was THAT good of a night. Couldn’t figure out how to bore the bolt out of the socket. This set worked its magic, and the machine will live again to wreck havoc in all those goooooood places again🤣

Luckily only had to use it once and it worked so nothing to complain about here.

Bought this because I had a tiny 1.5 mm stripped set screw that I was trying to remove from my mtb brake lever. Used the correct size bits in the set and follow the basic instructions and had the screw out in no time. The material seems strong and the bits were still in good shape after first use. Worth every penny 👍

This did nothing but wear out the drill bit. It would not make any progress towards drilling a hole in the top of the screw. Rather than remove the screw which is what I wanted to do, I had to use a carbide drill bit that I already had to drill down and then plug the hole. My gut told me to do this in the first place; however, since I had just spent a lot of money on my deck, I wanted to actually remove and replace the two screws that I had messed up. I am returning this item.

This kit is just okay feel free to spend a little extra money if you need the drill bits to actually work. The bits are TRASH they couldn't even drill through the screws I had(Used some I had beforehand). The extractors worked great once was able to drill a hole deep enough for them to grip into the screw. So overall these MIGHT work for you in a pinch but imo just spend the extra money and get a more trustworthy set.

If you are like me, when working around the house on projects, you may occasionally screw up. If so, you need a toolkit like this to unscrew your screw ups (see what I did there?). These tools do a great job in helping unscrew and remove the worst case screw heads. Add a little WD-40 lubricant, and voila-- the error is fixed. Highly recommended.

At first my husband was skeptical about having them. About a week later he was doing a project on his car and a screw broke. He was so frustrated until I reminded him that he had this set. He looked at me, smiled and he was able to remove the screw.

Decent quality and value, exactly what I needed, and did the job.
