Fantastic Crutches!
I have had these crutches for over a year and a half, and this review is way overdue. Prior to purchasing these crutches, I was using inexpensive, HEAVY crutches that were a pain to carry and use. I decided to purchase these carbon fiber crutches in hopes that their lightweight design would make them easier to use every day. I have not been disappointed in any way. These crutches have exceeded my expectations, and they are a joy to use after a year and a half of daily use. I finally wore a hole in the rubber tip and have to change it today. That's the only thing I have had to fix on these crutches. Granted, they are a little bit more expensive than the big-name medical brands, but they are well worth every cent. They are capable of folding, but I have never had to or wanted to. They weigh just about nothing and hold my 247lb body with no problem. If you are disabled, even temporarily, these are fantastic crutches for a reasonable price. If you are uncertain and can't decide, I recommend purchasing KMINA Crutches, and you will not regret it. I hope this helps in your decision-making and you enjoy them as much as I do!

Perfect travel crutches and even better for daily use!
I really love these crutches! They are light and sturdy, just what you would expect from a high quality carbon fiber built item. It is balanced well and very light. They are lighter than my normal aluminum crutches and feel much more comfortable. The case is a nice touch, but the case is just a bag with a draw string. They should make an actual carrying case that will hold two that I can wear as a backpack. They would sell along with these crutches, if they make it. I literally was searching for travel friendly crutches. These are definitely travel friendly, but they won't fit in a typical backpack, nor a normal carryon luggage. They are approximately 22.4" when folded and the height of a typical back pack is 18". Carry on luggage is about 20-22". This will fit fine in your large checked luggage. I jerry rigged my 18" backpack so that they will hold these crutches if I put them in the side water bottle holders and secure them with an elastic velcro band that is 24.6" long and can stretch to 40". You will need a strap that can wrap around the circumference of your backpack, and a backpack with water bottle holder(s). You can find these elastic straps here on Amazon by searching for "elastic velcro straps". These crutches do not have shock absorbers, just in case you are wondering. Anyhow, happy travels!

Awesome Product- Need some Strength to use
Very sturdy. Bought before foot surgery- Keep next to bed . You need a lot more strength than you think to use. I also have regular Crutches and A knee scooter. They all come in handy for different tasks around the house post foot surgery. These are great for travel, compact and fold in half with carry bag. Makes going to the store a lot easier in combination with knee scooter Not good for Bath room visits, regular Crutches for a Man going #1 will support and hold you up. Recommend- Buy these as soon as possible before the surgery to practice and build up muscles that you most likely never used that often. It also puts a lot pressure on your forearms and those with carpal tunnel a little harder. But , I love these as part of my post surgery equipment. These are best in my opinion for short trips or movements.

New favorite pair
Excellent quality they had taken me to adjust to the hand grip the angle is a bit different then either two other pair . Not a complaint just an observation so once you get them and adjust them to your arm/ wrist there will be a slight learning curve not more then a few hours of use is what I did was use them around the house to grasp the fact that they will hold me securely and the rubber tip is back in the days good one all checked out now there my grab first pair they are collapsible but there actually so compact compared to my other pairs I don’t feel a need to collapse them . Light reliable. and good looking

Very nice forearm crutch
More comfortable than I thought. Light. Has a bag with it for travel I guess. Easy to set up. Transitioned from 2 crutches to one crutch to this. This is a much better option than 1 crutch. Very happy with my purchase.

Twice the price
I chose these for their folding feature. They are twice the price of regular crutches and you only get one. They work fine, easy to adjust, good quality, comfortable to use. They come with bags. When folded they are still bulky. As far as weight goes they seem as heavy as their aluminum counter parts. My main reason to choose these was because I thought I would use the folding feature. I keep them together and ready to use most to the time. I did take them on vacation folded, but did not use them much. They are easier to use and more stable than using a cane. I use a walker and canes most of the time. These help walking upright. I use them inside and outside.

Great for helping with stability
These crutches are amazing! I have been using them for almost a year and haven't had any issues with them. I have put these things through the ringer - outside use, dropped, scuffed, tossed in a vehicle and so much more. These things have taken it all and there is no sign of all the abuse they've endured. My stability isn't the best and I wasn't really wanting to have to go from using a cane to a walker so I researched and found out about forearm crutches. Then it was just a matter of finding which ones to purchase. These are so easy to adjust their height, and they can be broken down into two pieces to make it easier to pack them. I work in retail and these things have kept me upright throughout my shifts. In fact, I've had several people ask about them and where I got them as they've had an interest in something like that rather than using a cane. The only negative thing I will say about them is that the arm rest piece is a bit uncomfortable, but it's a sturdy piece of plastic so no surprise there. I've purchased the Vive cushions to go over it and they make it so comfortable! If these things should ever get broke or lost, I'll definitely be buying them again!

STRONGER THAN THORS HAMMER, LIGHTER THAN A GREEN SALAD!
Ok… I’ve been waiting for over TWO YEARS, nearly THREE to leave this review of the “Kmina Forearm Crutches,” specifically the “folding carbon fiber design.” One reason for my delay is due to laziness, I’ll admit. But another reason is because I really wanted to test durability, strength, weight, and overall functionality of this design over an extended period of time. To provide a little context… I am a SCI survivor and an “incomplete” para. When I first noticed these crutch’s on Amazon, both my PT and I were pretty skeptical of the quality, especially given the price point compared to other DME(s) (durable medical equip.) Also, Amazon tends to have a ton of poorly crafted items for sale which is really hard to sift through… Mostly relying on reviews and hoping they are not bought and paid-for. (This is a 💯 completely voluntary review, scouts honor!) With that context in mind I must say; These KMINA Forearm crutch’s are like finding a hidden treasure trove of gold in a vast barren desert landscape. They could possibly be the best human technological advancement since the moon-landing. I have put these crutches through absolute hell and they are still as strong and functional as day one! Their appearance is not the same, with scuffs and dirt build up, but the functionality and strength remains absolutely flawless. I have dropped these, driven over them, waded into lakes and oceans with them, taken modest hikes and gone camping with them, taken them abroad, left them in tremendous heat on a beach, or by campfires, or by my wood-stove. I forgot them outside during the coldest days of winter… one time they were plowed into a snowbank. I have used them while practicing carrying weighted backpacks… pushing down an additional 100lbs or so on them… I have rolled my wheelchair over them like it was my job. Oh did I mention dropping them? At least 10,000 times… I’ve even swore and cussed at them and they just don’t falter. EVER. These could be the single best item I’ve ever purchased anywhere… That’s certainly the case for Amazon! Despite wishing I didn’t need them, I can’t express enough praise for this design and this company! In fact, if KMINA were looking for a spokesperson who’s disabled to demonstrate and advertise their durability, I would more than gladly sign-up! Especially if it meant I got free pair every… I dunno… decade, century?? Maybe just one free pair once I hit 1,000,000 miles, like Toyota. Or perhaps a modest discount? (*hint, hint*) Anyhow I digress. If you need forearm crutch’s that are feather-light, more rigid than a Rhinoceros’ horn or more solid than Thor’s hammer, look no further and buy these immediately, you won’t be disappointed!!! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Sincerely -a big fan of KMINA

These are excellent forearm crutches
These are exceptionally well designed and well made. Light weight and silent in use. Attractive appearance seems far less intimating to general public too. I also recommend these to folks who use a cane. The improvement in control is tremendous and could easily prevent a fall. In colder areas where ice can be a problem, add fold-up ice picks to the bottom for safety. I am absolutely delighted with this purchase. If you find the red reflectors a bit much, they are easy to blacken with a magic-marker. I also drilled small holes in the cuffs to add a short piece of elastic strapping so I can free up my hand without having to find a parking spot for the crutch. A very simple but important improvement.

A well designed collapsible pair of elbow length arm crutches that suit all needs.
I have now been using these crutches for the last month or so and are therefore able to comment with personal experience. I am by training and qualification a person who researches carefully before purchase. I am pleased with this product, it is well designed and it fulfill all my expectations. It is a true arm/elbow crutch not a walking stick. I am having to use both crutches simultaneously until my operation and recovery is successfully completed. l have no negative comments to make. The transition from being completely folded at minimum size to being ready to use takes seconds, once you have originally identified the setting. Each crutch is light weight and sturdy when it locks effortlessly together. This gives essential user confidence when in use. The adjustability range of the crutch is considerable, considering that I am 6'4" (194 cm) and 96 Kg. The crutches come with a very convenient material bag to store them in during a flight etc.

J'utilise des cannes depuis plusieurs décennies, j'étais donc intrigué par ce nouveau (pour moi) produit, que je viens de recevoir. Les premières impressions sont excellentes: esthétiquement (cela peut paraitre bête, mais les aides à la mobilité ne sont jamais très jolis, voire carrément très laids, j'apprécie donc l'effort dans ce sens -- on peut être handicapé et coquet... :-) ), complètement silencieux à l'usage (encore une fois un détail qu'un utilisateur à long terme appréciera sans doute plus, je préfère passer inaperçu autant que possible), et léger (ce qui est agréable, mais pas essentiel). Le pliage / dépliage est facile et rapide, une fonctionnalité que je trouve importante comme voyageur fréquent (je ne compte plus le nombre de cannes endommagées ou détruites lors de voyages en avion ou autres transports en commun); la possibilité de pouvoir rapidement plier ces cannes, et donc ne pas avoir à m'en séparer, même en cabine, devrait limiter les risques (enfin je l'espère...) L'ergonomie est différente des cannes plus traditionnelles / communes auxquelles je m'étais jusqu'alors habitué, et prendra un peu de temps pour m'y faire; cela dit, il me semble que le fabriquant ait bien pensé les détails (par exemple, les poignées sont suffisamment épaisses pour éviter l'équivalent du 'tennis elbow' dont font souvent l'expérience les utilisateurs de cannes à long terme, et la texture est également non dérapante...) Les questions que je me pose maintenant concernent la durabilité du produit: La construction en matières composites / fibres de carbone est assez unique pour ce type de produit, et je ne le découvrirai qu'après un usage prolongé. Les cannes en aluminium cassent en général après une année d'utilisation; jusqu'à présent, je n'ai eu de meilleurs résultats qu'avec des cannes en acier (je suis de taille et poids moyen, mais assez actif). Je n'ai encore jamais fait l'expérience de cannes en fibres de carbone, c'est une construction qui semble prometteuse, c'est en général assez costaud dans d'autres domaines d'utilisation. Les embouts sont de dimensions standards, donc facilement remplaçables (en général, j'use une paire d'embouts par mois);
