Rhodia 193469C A5 Notebook,Lined,80 Sheets, Black - A5+ - 210 mm x 160 mm

I was searching a good journaling diary which can handle my ink pens. This is the best option hands down. No feathering or see through at all. Pen just glides on this one. I can easily write on both side of the paper. And it is cheap - yes. It beats 10x expenssive paper (and beats 100gsm paper). My search has ended and I will use Rhodia for life.

Rhodia is internationally known for making really decent paper for fountain pen users. The notebooks have very good ink resistance and ink properties are visible. The paper quality is not as good as the Midori MD, which I use, but that is absolutely fair considering the price difference; Midori is about 3 times as expensive. The paper quality of Rhodia is about the same as that of Leuchtturm and Moleskine. Rhodia gives good expression to ink and pen. Sheen is clearly visible, shading is good too. The paper is smooth. It does absorb oil from the skin; it gets a little finicky at the bottom of the page. I use an artist glove as remedy to that. The paper is white, not ivory, and so it does not distort the ink colour. It is understandable expensive from the regular ball-pointers POV. But it is a very good middle-of-the-road FP notebook, value-for-money and quality in balance. I use this for most of my office work.

Worth the money. Good for fountain pen use. It's a French brand with good paper quality. No bleed through noticed.

A quality generally hard to get around here.

Still not as good as what was delivered in 2019 & 2020. I like this Rhodia more than the Clairfontaine, which is smoother resulting in skips.

Libreta de buena calidad, la llevo arriba y abajo por trabajo y la tapa está intacta, de primeras parece maleable pero resiste que da gusto.

Rhodia, une marque incontestable par la qualité du papier, du format….

Bra papper för peng och ändamål. Klarar flertalet lite "tuffare" pennor samt klara reservoarpennor också. Skönt format och trevligt papper. Slätt med lite lagom motstånd.

Great notebook, good quality overall.
