Can it cut with a medal blade

Yes I use a 14 inches metal blade on mine to cut steel rebars. It’s designed for metal blades . It works great and save a ton of time

Why does it only come with 3 "cushions" for the 4 feet?

I called Makita about this as my only came with 3 as well. This is part of the design. The 4th leg is by the dust shoot, where hot sparks fly through. It would only melt the rubber if one were there. Makes sense to me... and the machine seems plenty stable. I’ve been cutting 1/8” tubular hot rolled steel all day no problems.
