It can be used for pregnant and lactating as it has alfalfa in it. Young rabbit food is made of alfalfa since babies need the nutrients to grow and gain a healthy weight etc. The package does show how much to feed as well.

I have a young rabbit how long will a 10lb bag last

it will depend on how much you feed your bunny. However, I still have a little over a 1/4 bag left and i received my bag on June 1st. My bunny wastes her food as well. The 10lb bag is a price for the money. Hope this helps.

Okayish brand, it is good however even this brand has a lot of mixing, the Internet tells u false things, THIS IS NOT THE BEST BRAND FOR HAY FOR RABBITS, there are a lot of others, try those as well, this is just priced extra in the name of imported hay, bunch of nonsense really

Strong Smell, Bunnies Refuse to Eat

I bought Oxbow Young Rabbit Pellets expecting a high-quality diet for my bunnies, but unfortunately, they refuse to touch it. The pellets have a very strong, almost off-putting smell, which makes me question their freshness. Even after trying multiple times, my rabbits completely ignore it. Not sure if I received a bad batch or if this is the normal scent, but for the price, I expected better. If your bunnies are picky, I’d recommend trying a small pack first before committing to a larger one. Definitely disappointed!

Not good for bunnies

Two of my young bunnies died of internal haemorrhage at different points of time within 2-3 days of introducing them to these pallets. One started having dark orange pee and the other one bleeding from mouth before dying. So beware......

Questo resta per me il miglior alimento per conigli. L'ho sempre usato anche con il coniglio che ho avuto in precedenza ed è stato con la mia famiglia ben 11 anni. Credo che l'alimentazione sia alla base per la salute di questi esserini molto delicati e fragili. Evitate quei mangimi che trovate al supermercato e affidatevi a chi produce alimenti di qualità. Per noi stessi prediligiamo alimenti sani a quelli preconfezionati e di scarsa qualità... facciamo lo stesso con loro che ci amano incondizionatamente.

Why did you choose this product over others?: my young bunny really adores these pellets and gets so excited when he hears the packet. they’re nice and simple as they should be; pellets are a really small part of their diet but they definitely keep him healthy none the less and at a healthy weight as he grows.
