This well-written novel by Wendy Dunham grabbed my interest and kept it until the last word. The characters are well-developed and the author made me care deeply about what was happening to the main character, River, as she struggled to adjust to the many changes and challenges in her life. The characters and the plot were refreshing and the ending was unexpected, but very satisfying. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Hope Girl
I read this book in one sitting, shortly after finishing "My Name Is River". A wonderful continuing story of River Starling's life, but able to be a stand alone book. Discussion notes at the end make this a worthwhile read for ages 12 & up. Recommended highly.

Got this book for 9 year old granddaughter. Book is Christian writer to reflect morals an instill values in living. Granddaughter said it was a great read.

An excellent read!
I loved this book! Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down! The continuing story of River, and how there are some things in life that don't work out as you would hope, but sometimes they are even better!! Very good story!

Great book and continuation to the first book. We loved every minute of it. We read both books and it was nice to see how River's life came full circle...

Wonderful!
This is book 2. The first book is called My Name is River. I read it with my tween daughter. It’s a great read on friendship, faith and right vs. Wrong. Me and my daughter couldn’t wait for bedtime to find out what would happen next.
