Backlight is a welcome addition.
Welcome upgrade over the non-backlit version. Customers expressed appreciation over new being able to see what they were signing. Worked right off the bat as a replcament for the non-backlit version with no additional configuration or setup.

Doesn't have the display options pictured, but works nonetheless
It's just a blank screen, no option to select cancel, clear, or done. But works great for what we needed.

The ability to view the signature with a backlight included is worth the extra money
I have deployed these in many offices and also deployed lesser versions of this product. I routinely have complaints about the signature pads that do not show the signer their signature as they sign. I have never had a complaint about these pads.
