Yes, probably. That concave area at the bottom is about 2 inches wide at the top and 3 at the bottom and about 2/3 an inch deep. A 3 foot cable could be wound up and stored there. A 6 foot cable might be too much to fit though.

What if you have paddles on the controller?

Hi Can only fit PS5 Official controller from Sony, cannot fit any paddles, sleeves. Cannot fit any third party controllers.
