Can you put the tea pot on the stove?

Hi Tommy, Thank you for your question. We do not suggest using it on the stove; the high temperature may cause cracks in the tea set due to uneven heating of the clay. At the same time, the pattern on the tea set may also change color. Put tea in the infuser, and pour hot water into it, then you can start to enjoy your tea.

What is the golden string in the box for?

If it's a braided string, then I used it to attach the lid to the handle. Honestly though, I don't know if that's what it's used for. Mine is red.
