Yes, there are separate buttons for the light and the fan speeds on the remote. It installs into a normal light fixture box - not sure if a ceiling fan had to be there before though

It does have three different light modes, but no you can’t dim them

Pleasantly surprised!

I’m pleasantly surprised by the power of this fan! The highest speed has significantly cooled down the room. The adjustable lighting is also really nice. Overall great value for the price.

Only blows air directly below of where it’s positioned

It does have a strong wind but I wish it when to the sides, the light is super bright & it does have the option of dining, it says that it was hard to program the control since instructions come In a different language but translate it on google & it should be easy.
