have a floor exhaust dryer, can i use the hose magnet seal, not the 90 up to the dryer?

You would mount the body of the 90 directly behind the dryer and connect it to the dryer using the dryer-side union and hose clamping the flex hose to the back of the dryer. If needed, finish the connection to the floor using rigid metal pipe and metal elbows!

Has anyone tried this yet? Any air/lint that blows by the seal created by the magnet?

The magnets create a tight and powerful seal. If your vent path is clear and unobstructed, then no air or lint will be able to escape. Thank you for your interest.

How do you secure one side of the system into the wall? I don't see any flange or place that will accept mounting screws?

The MagVent MV-90 is secured to the wall with a bracket, and wall anchors/screws that are provided. The product assembly dimensions, and installation video provided on the product page show a better view of the bracket.
