Let me first preface this review with 2 things. Number one, I have used expensive hair products and gone to high end salons and never had a product feel effective or worth the money. Number 2, I thought my natural hair color was "dishwater" blonde mixed with gray and other shades of blonde. After using this product I can say for the first time it made my hair softer and prettier than any product or visit has. My hair is now golden blonde, all the dingy dishwater color is gone and what is left is a beautiful blend of blondes and silver and much more manageable and less frizzy. This stuff is AMAZING!

I don’t write reviews, let alone leave images of myself. But goodness. This stuff impressed me so much, here I am. I have recently highlighted my hair, and it was starting to get brassy. So I thought using a purple shampoo would help. That made my hair dry, tangled, and I barely noticed anything. Then my hair startled tangling and getting brittle and brassy no matter leaving the purple shampoo in for 20 minutes.I used this stuff just now. My hair feels SOFT. It did not tangle, it did not stick together, and I wasn’t expecting any color effects, but the brass seems to have decreased significantly!I will continue to use this shampoo. I am so relieved and pleased. My hair feels light and healthy. Very effective ✅I don’t have a before photo, but I wish I had taken one. I have well water with a significant amount of iron and rust, so mineral buildup in my hair has always been a challenge. My hairstylist recommended the Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Remedy treatments, and I can definitely see why.This system does an excellent job removing buildup and leaves my hair feeling noticeably cleaner, healthier, and more manageable. After using it, my hair feels soft and refreshed without the heavy residue that hard water can leave behind. All three products are straightforward to use, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The products also fit well in my shower, which is definitely a plus.One reason I'm giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 is the scent. While it isn't enough to keep me from using the product, I find the fragrance quite strong and would prefer something more subtle.That said, the results make it well worth using. I would highly recommend this system to anyone dealing with hard water or well water, especially if you color your hair. It's also a great product to use before hair appointments to help prepare your hair for highlights or other color services.Even though I am transitioning to city water, I plan to continue using this product periodically to help maintain the health and condition of my hair. Overall, it's an effective treatment that delivers noticeable results. The value for this product is unmatched.

Used one time. My hair doesn't feel waxy anymore and it took out some of the orange tones (iron/copper deposits) from the horrible water in Virginia. Its like the water here is super charged with chemicals that make the prettiest of blonde hair this gawd awful blorange tone. This helped after one wash. Hair feels great- light and airy. Will use as directed. I might consider Malibu C Repair as a deep conditioning treatment. I wash my hair 2-3x per week. I recommend these products if you have hard water. Make sure you understand it doesn't "lighten" hair, however your hair might appear brighter when you remove hard water chemical build up, which is what this product definitely does.

I got this for my daughter, and it works AMAZING! The hair mask packets are super moisturizing and brought my daughter's hair from frizzy to beautiful, soft, shiny, spiral curls! It smells fruity; we love it!

I just wanna say the product is great. With that being said, my box was ripped open, and there was only three of the packages of the crystals. There were supposed to be six is there enough?

This was my first time doing a hard water treatment and I'm extremely pleased! I have not dyed my hair before and had been noticing in recent months a stringiness in my waves. They weren't clumping well and my hair felt heavy even after getting a haircut (which is the before picture I used). When I was a child I had blonde hair that darkened as I grew older. I was shocked to see such blonde highlights revealed in my hair after using the Malibu C Hard Water treatment. I also found that my wave pattern went from a type 2A/2B to a 2C/3A because it became lighter after the hard water buildup was removed. Now, my hair is bouncy, swishy, and clumps beautifully!I knew I was dealing with at least 12 years of hard water buildup. So, I followed most of the directions as instructed except I left the treatment on for 20 minutes with a plastic shower cap and warm towel rather than 5 minutes. After washing with shampoo a second time followed by conditioner I used a deep conditioning mask for 15 minutes to ensure I didn't leave my hair dry. I then styled it using homemade flaxseed gel and diffusing.The before and after side by side picture shows my hair styled both times. The before was styled by my hairstylist after the haircut and the after was what I had styled with flaxseed gel (I hadn't scrunched it in that picture). The second after pictures is after my hair had completely dried and I scrunched out their cast.I'm still new to taking proper care of my wavy/curly hair. This was my first time ever having a hard water treatment and using a deep conditioning masque. Since, treatment my mom has commented multiple times about how soft my hair looks and now that it can effectively receive moisture it feels soft too!UPDATE: It has been just a little more than a week since the first treatment and I did a second treatment. Now, I feel like the hard water buildup is completely gone. I have added a picture of closeup comparison of my hair in direct sunlight before treatment and after the second treatment.

I wish I could give this 100 stars. I've lived for 25 years with water that is as hard as water can be without solidifying. I'm also hypothyroid and my hair has been extremely dry and brittle all that time. I'd had no idea that hard water shampoo existed before I found this. I washed my hair with this last night, and INSTANTLY my hair was so soft and smooth, and it felt and looked beautiful. I'm nearly in tears about this miracle. If you have hard water I cannot recommend this enough. And here is a funny: a couple of times I touched my hair and felt that it was wet. But it was not damp at all. It's just that I'd gotten so used to brittle, damaged flat hair that I'd forgotten what hair should feel like. This product is AMAZING. Complete revival with just one washing!!!!!Sad update: after 3 shampoos, this shampoo makes my hair look and feel awful. My hair feels filthy after washing, and is somehow dry and greasy at the same time. It's never felt or looked worse in my life. If I could change this review to 1 star I would do so. Looked up on Google and apparently this pattern is typical for hard water shampoos. I very very much do not recommend.

These products work brillantly! I rate the product 5-stars... however, opening the package, the lids were loose and the bottles slightly slippery, so some content of the shampoo and conditioner spilled, but thankfully only a little.We are on tank water (rain water), surrounded by a dusty environment, very soft pH level. And over the years my hair has felt dull, lifeless and like there was a silicone residue coating my hair. I had tried all the amazing brand shampoo and conditioners, clarifying shampoos and nothing really worked. Malibu C Hard Water Wellness Collection has been a life saver! Especially the crystals, it really cuts through it all.If you have similar, also consider adding a filter to your shower head, this is another thing I did. Both have helped.

I never thought I would write a review for shampoo/conditioner, but this one deserves it. I moved from a country with water I thought was hard to a country with water so hard we cannot drink it. My hair felt increasingly dry and awful. I tried moisturizing shampoos, hair oils, etc. Nothing made much of a difference. Then I stumbled on this one, and I kid you not, from the first wash my hair has felt softer and fluffier (I have not been able to get my hair cut in 7 months, so it might be TOO fluffy) I have naturally grey hair, which is usually fairly dry at the best of times and this had made it feel great. I plan to keep using this when I finally move somewhere with soft water and look forward to seeing what healthiness happens to my hair then. Cannot recommend this shampoo/conditioner enough

makes your hair very soft what's left of it my hair fell out a lot after using would not recommend

These crystals did God’s work. This saved my blonde extensions from UV and sunscreen (oops!) reaction that turned them peachy orange! I’m new to extensions so I have now learned my lesson. I did have to process it twice to remove the discolouration but it was worth it. May need one more pass through to get any last missed areas. The odor from the crystals reacting with the hair was not the best but let me know it was working. Hair is a bit dry now but nothing a deep hydration mask can’t fix. Thanks Malibu C!

It's very essential to me now, fixed all my hair issues. The colour and texture of my hair is so much better now. Highly recommend
