I bought the Turtle Beach Recon 70 Blue Camo Gaming Headset as a temporary headset for my Xbox One, and I was honestly surprised by how well it performs, especially for the price! Sound Quality: The audio is clear, with good highs and mids for gaming. While it doesn’t have the deep bass of higher-end models, it still provides a satisfying experience for most games. Comfort: The headset is lightweight and comfortable for long gaming sessions. The ear cushions are soft and don’t cause discomfort, even after hours of use. Microphone: The flip-up mic works great—picks up my voice clearly, and the fact that it automatically mutes when flipped up is a nice touch. For a budget-friendly option, this headset exceeded my expectations. It's a great choice if you're looking for something temporary, or even as a primary headset if you don't want to break the bank.

Very easy to use. The mute system did catch me off gaurd though bu you have to move the mic up into the offline position or mute position, it's a very durable mic and it sensitive to sound so it can hear you easily and sometimes ur surroundings. The wites are firmly put into the mic and not easily pulled out and broken as I have multiple times accidently stood in the wire and pulled my headset and it has flung back down to the floor but the wires are still intact! Edit: 2021 is when I brought this mic I have had it up until 2025 and it still works! It has recently began to be faulty but that's expected since it's old, the ear cushion parts are peeling off and the volume up and down now messes with what ear the sound comes through but this is a recent thing of years of accidently ripping it off my head. This is a very good mic and would highly suggest for people to get it, for example of what's peeling off the grey fabric coat around the ears are coming off but the mic itself is still intact the foam cushion parts are still connected it's just the thing fabric layer on them. I will be buying it again! Especially causes it matches my controller arctic camo.

Picked this up as a budget gaming headset for the Xbox and honestly it punches well above its price point. The sound is surprisingly clear for the money, with decent bass that makes explosions and footsteps easy to pick out in games like Warzone. The flip to mute mic is a nice touch too, my mates on party chat say I come through clearly which is all I really need. Comfort wise it's pretty good for shorter sessions but after a couple of hours it can start to feel a bit tight around the ears. The ear cushions could do with being a bit thicker. The camo white design looks smart though and the wired connection means zero latency which I much prefer over wireless for competitive stuff. For what you pay, it's a solid headset. Not going to compete with the premium options out there but if you want something reliable that works across multiple platforms without breaking the bank, it does the job. I mainly use it on Xbox but it plugs straight into the PS5 controller and my laptop too.

Excellent product. Very comfy on both the head and ears. Mic is easily turned on and off by simply adjusting its position by pushing it up toward the earpiece or back toward your face for use. Very good noise cancellation and sound quality.

These were great for the few days i had it. They worked fine they sounded great but just obviously dont chew on the wire like a dog otherwise they wont last to long, completely my fault.😭good purchase tho

I like turtle beach products and have been a long time user of their headsets for gaming. This head set is excellent quality for the cost . I know full well with heavy use such as mine gets they will eventually wear out , but at the price they are I am happy to replace when needed . Functionally they are excellent entry level kit. The microphone quality is good and the actual mic itself is robust enough to not burn out when a 12 year old screams down it during an intense Roblox game. The audio is good with good bass tones and for myself I like that I can hear all sounds no matter how low level when gaming. Also when I game i usually have music playing via another app running in the background as well as the in game sounds , and party chat. This head set copes well with all three inputs at the same time . They are made to the usual good standard I expect form turtle beach products. I like the food away style mic that is small enough that it isn’t annoying or impacts my field of vision.

Had them for years and left

I don’t normally write reviews for products but these headphones are pretty dope. These are my first pair of gaming headphones so I’m no connoisseur by any stretch.. but I saw some mixed reviews on these which lowkey made me hesitant to purchase so thought I’d chime in. Personally, I’d recommend them. They work just fine and the sound is pretty great. For the price I wasn’t expecting BOSE or anything but definitely exceeded my expectations. I’m really into the depth of the base and these definitely do the trick. The volume switch is also on the back of the left headphone so maybe those who say the volume doesn’t work after a few days just need to turn that up? Idk. Overall I’m pretty happy with these. I play fortnite on my switch usually and sometimes I can’t tell if the sounds are from the game or outside my house.. that’s how decent these headphones are. Got the navy camo, they look so good. 5 stars.

My husband loves it definitely worth the money and he says sound is great and the quality is great
