Expensive but worth every penny!
I love it when a smart product works exactly as expected, and installation and setup is quick, simple and hassle free. That is most definitely the case with this wonderful dimmer switch. I had high expectations based on the other reviews and I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed! Installation was a breeze with the clearly written (good English) instructions, and setting the device up was so easy and quick. I often say things to my wife like "this shouldn't take long" but invariably this is often not the case. This time it was though. I have various smart devices and hubs, including Philips Hue and Hive, but chose to connect this Zigbee device using my Echo Studio. I followed the simple instructions and it paired within seconds. Then it was just a case of setting the minimum brightness (again, very simple) - I had to do this twice because the first time I think I'd set it too dim, so the light didn't turn off completely. Worth remembering if you encounter the same issue. That was it! The switch now works perfectly every time - either manually or via Alexa. This is a great way to convert existing light fittings instead of having to buy ridiculously expensive Hue bulbs - and the real beauty of the device is that people don't keep rendering the smart capabilities useless by turning them off at the switch! I will most certainly be buying more of these for other rooms in the house. Fantastic product.

Works perfectly with hue bridge and app
This works perfectly with hue bridge, and it was a very simple installation. When I first installed it my bulbs were not the correct dimming variety and they stayed on. After changing to dimmable 7w LEDs it has worked flawlessly. It fits easily in a normal uk box and does not require a neutral wire. If you are looking for a way to save on hue bulbs while keeping Smart Control this is the simplest option on the market.

Seems very reliable
I am very impressed with this zigbee (oh the zigbee!) switch! Installation was very easy. The depth unlike similar switches is not that big and I managed to fit it without an extension plate in my standard shallow boxes. Infuse it with a Philips dismantle led 8w and there is no flickering using a no neutral setup. There several parameters such as the minimum dim that can be easily adjusted. The instructions are very good and don’t feel like the translated stuff you normally see in these devices. Recognition from my Hubitat hub was very easy and the drivers were directly identified. I wish they had non dimable switches as well. It really worths the extra cost in my opinion.

Works as expected
A lot of Zigbee light switches look terrible, this one at least looks like it belongs in a house in the UK. Installation is as easy as any other light switch, pop the old one off, rewire the wires into this and pop it on. It comes with screws and screw-covers for a slightly smarter look. The included instructions are clear and configuration is easy. It is possible to completely reset the device; pair it with a Zigbee controller; and adjust the minimum brightness setting. Even with kids, it's unlikely you'll accidentally reset the device, but it's easy enough to repair if that did happen. The push button doesn't travel far and is quiet to action. Turning the knob is notched and turns infinitely in either direction. When linked up, you can turn a non-smart bulb on and off, and dim remotely - but unlikely with smart bulbs, you can also use the switch without disabling the smart functionality. You can switch freely between an app or the switch and work in tandem. I have used a Sonoff USB controller and Zigbee2MQTT to control the device, it paired without trouble and is reporting as a router. You can set the power on behaviour to avoid the light coming on after a power cut in the middle of the night or something. The downsides are, it's very expensive and only comes in rotten plastic white. A brushed steel version would be nice. While you can get just the dimmer or pop the knob off this one, knob sizes aren't standard and I couldn't find any in my house that I could get to fit.

So good i bought another
Love thesr dimmers.. Nice rotary feeling and progressive dimming, much better that the glass press one i had before. Using it with Home Assistant and zigbee2mqtt with full functionality and reports as a router . Can be used as a two way switch but only with a second momentary switch like the Aqara z1 not a standard toggle

Highly Recommend / Game Changer!
I recently decided to upgrade my home to the "SMART" side, and I must say that the Candeo smart switch dimmer (zigby version) has been a game-changer. Installation was a breeze, taking just 15 minutes without the need for an earth connection. Pairing it with my SONOFF Universal Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus and home assistant was surprisingly easy – a few button presses and we were good to go! Now, we're enjoying movie nights with the convenience of controlling the lights through various automations. The lowest dimming setting at 1% is great for setting the mood, while 70% provides ample brightness for full illumination. Plus, there's no annoying buzzing or frequency interference sounds to deal with. My partner and I both give it a solid 10/10 approval rating. Admittedly, the price might seem a bit high for a dimmer switch, but I took the plunge based on the fantastic reviews – and I'm thrilled I did. Great job, Candeo!

Seemed promising!
I'd love to leave a better review but unfortunately, it's not the case. Installation was easy, pairing to the zigbee hub was easy, calibration of the lamps was easy, what's not to like I thought. Unfortunately the switch has a mind of its own! Give a voice command to turn the light on, it goes on, stays on for say 5 minutes or so then turns off. Same with manual operation. I've tried lots of troubleshooting, nothing helps. First impressions were great, hopefully it works for others.

Clever gadget!
We recently refurbed our living room and wanted to include some smart lighting, but didn't know which way to go. We found this this gadget and it really is the easiest solution to convert normal lighting to smart! The instructions are very clear and my husband got it wired in really quickly to replace our existing switch. It looks nice on the wall, simple and modern looking and works as a normal dimming light switch– except now our living room lights can be controlled by Alexa and Google, and it works great with our Hue app too! Great value for money, we’ll definitely get more for other rooms soon.
