Can you fold this pillow over and it will kinda flatten out? More like a huggable pillow?

Yes. The pillow puffs up when no pressure is being applied. Yiu always have a comfortable position as you move in your sleep.

Would you suggest this pillow to someone who likes softer pillows?

Hi, I would consider these duck feather and down pillows to be on the semi firm side. I've had nothing but down in feather pillows for the last 25 to 30 years. That said, it's still took a few nights for me to adjust to the new pillow. This makes sense as my previous ones were quite old and did not stay fluffy for more than 3 minutes.

Do you need to buy specific feather pillow covers/cases to protect from feather poking out or will regular pillow cases serve the purpose?

Feathers do not poke through my pillows. You do not need to incur that expense of purchasing ‘specific’ pillow cases.

Great Pillow

So fluffy and comfortable. At first the feathers inside are a little stiff so a thick pillow case is recommended but after a couple of months I am using a silk pillow case and its wonderful. After 7 months they are still big and fluffy.

Okay, to start off I thought going the less expensive route was going to bite me in the butt and just leave me with disappointment. When I stumbled upon these and read the reviews I was definitely optimistic, but also concerned they were going to smell based off some of the reviews. I took the leap and ordered 3 sets and WOOOOWWWW! These did not disappoint on any front. They are quality, odorless, and after a quick run in the dryer-- oh so fluffy. I've had several nights of sleep on them and it's the best i've slept in months. I am in love! I believe the manufacturers or sellers took the advice and fixed the issues with the smell. As far as any feathers poking through, it doesn't even feel like it would come close to them poking out. I would recommend these to everyone, and if I can give these a thousand stars I would!
