Can I use this to replace the Schrader Valve on my car A/C R12 System

Usually for A/C you would use a tool that would keep the A/C system presurized after core removal. With this tool you would lose all presure and have to recharge the whole system. That being said, if you have no pressure in the system at all you could use this tool to replace the cores as long as they are the same size as standard inner tube valve cores. I have used the tool and valve cores on a fuel injection system on a car but not A/C.

Will these cores work with mountain bike presta stems?

These are for car stems actually. They are however the same. They are both Preston stems the core however is different. These stem cores are of the short, car, variety, not of the long spring type usually found in bike tires. The tool however is a great one to have in you box. It fixes just about every type of valve stem problem, from rethreading both inside and outside threads, valve core tool to r and r the core. It will even fix a crushed stem. Although I have no idea why you would want to.How this helps.

Does it have directions

No directions, but it tells on back of package what the tool can do, and you can go to YouTube, and theres videos on how to use the tool.
