I read through many different product reviews on here and I'm super glad I settled with these ones. You get a lot blues and purples at first with just a little green. Then the green tends to take over towards the end. Overall the blue and purple will last about 5 - 15 minutes and the green lasted about 30 mins. It depends on the size of the fire. A huge fire will eat through these quickly since big fires eat faster. Anyways, I recommend using two or more packs in different areas around the fire for the best effect. The instructions DO recommend that you get all the cooking done and out of the way before using these. So keep that in mind if you want to have a longer fire afterwards and intend to cook on it later.

I saw these randomly while purchasing some items for our camping trip and decided to give them a try, and I'm so glad I did. After discretely throwing a couple of the packets into the fire and then shouting "Abracadabra!", my two children think their dad is a wizard of tremendous powers. Some things to note about the product from my experience: - Wait until it's dark. You won't notice any color change if it's light outside. - There needs to be an actual flame. Just throwing the packets on hot coals will do nothing. - These last much longer than expected. I was thinking a packet would go for 30 seconds to 1 minute. I didn't time it, but they lasted upwards of 5 minutes. I would absolutely recommend these to any family going camping. It's such a fun and unique visual that is fun for kids and adults alike.

I loved turning our campfire colors and the kids and family enjoyed it as well. I found myself using between 6 to 8 packets for the colors to last, and I wish it came in a bigger quantity. I recommend for late nights, but do order a sufficient quality cause you'll be using a lot of them in one time.

This is a must have for any campfire in which you have kids. The color is very bright and it lasts a long time. If you use only one, you will be able to see the colors efficiently two , and let everything really pops.

No heat produced from this item. Easy to carry. Doesn’t make a mess.

I bought this on a whim and it did not disappoint. We used the packets during a memorial fire and it really brightened our spirits. These were well worth the purchase. Unlike others I’ve tried before, these were the brightest, most vibrant and longest lasting. I put one packet at each end of the wood stack and the fire did the rest. With each stoke of the fire, the color kept coming back. These will be my go to for camp fires from now on!

This was really fun to experience for our bonfire one night. There were very vivd teal, green, light blue, and dark blue flames. Just have your fire burning for a bit so it's nice and hot (we waited at least 20 minutes) and then toss a few (unopened) packets in to see the color show. The pictures really don't do it justice. It won't last for the entire length of the fire unless you toss in more packets through out but it did last for a decent amount of time. Will purchase again.

The color change is not drastic but it is noticeable. The kids love them when we use them. But again it’s not a drastic color change
