No,it is HDMI splitter 1 in 8 out,meas it is 1 Port to 8 HDMI Display Duplicate/Mirror Powered Splitter.

How do you select which device is being used is there a selector button

There is only 1 input so you can't use more than 1 input device without using a separate switch, and selecting devices would be done on the switch. As regards the output, I believe (although I haven't tested it as I don't have enough displays) that the splitter can output to 8 displays at the same time, so there's need for an output selection button.
