Spy Kids [DVD]

My boys loved this movie about kids becoming spies! Secret agent gadgets and fun! Very cool movie! Made me nostalgic!

We had seen the movie so we knew what we were getting... butthe real story here was the service from amazon. The disc arrived in a padded envelope, but sounded like a baby rattle when we shook it. (Disc and pieces of plastic loose inside the case.) We didn't open it, fearing that the disc would be damaged and we'd be left holding the bag. When we notified amazon of the problem, it was amazing how quick and convenient it was to return the disc and obtain a new one. We had the new disc in a matter of a couple of days and they gave us everything we needed to return the old one. Hats off to amazon for continued great service!! Thanks!

I did not watch the movie but my 7 year old son really liked it. After watching the first spy kids he wanted to watch all four spy kids movie s. It kept him entertained on our flight to and from vacation.

I read a lot of these reviews by parents who said they hated it, gave it one star, then said, "but my kids loved it!" ??? I didn't understand this, and it made me mad so I wanted to write a five star review. My son LOVED it, and since HE is the target audience, it deserves 5 stars. Idiots.

My 6 year old loves this movie, though it is certainly not one of my favorites. It is a little annoying for an adult, but the silly characters and overacting is why my kids loves it. It is appropriate for a 6 year old, in my opinion, as the violence is fake and usually silly.

Danny Trejo playing a nice guy, he actually pulled it off. All the techy stuff is great and lets kids use their imagination. I actually kept an interest through the entire series, and I am 35. It was nice to see them come back for more and more

This is a 2001 science fantasy family adventure in which Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni (Daryl Sabara) are just normal kids until they discover their parents Ingrid and Gregorio Cortez (Carla Gugino and Antonio Banderas) are super-spies, after their parents are kidnapped by an evil baddie bent on world domination. And it’s up to the kids to save the day. Filled with funny crazy ’monsters’ such as the ‘Fooglies’ who speak gibberish and the dumb ‘Thumb-Thumb’ henchmen, and gadgets galore, this is almost live action comic book fun for all the family. It’s Willy Wonka merging with James Bond, and it’s guaranteed to enthral the youngsters with its bright and bold colours while the plot and cast are engaging enough for older viewers. With no swearing or nudity, this is an obvious recommendation and a ***** family movie without doubt.

Pour les enfants qui aiment l'aventure, mais pas les trops grands... Ma fille de 7 ans et a adoré. Attention après, il y a le 2 et le 3 (passage obligé quand on a vu le 1!).

Paquete recibido dentro del plazo indicado, bien protegido y en perfecto estado. Me sorprendió poder encontrar esta película a día de hoy, teniendo en cuenta que es del año 2001 y no es especialmente famosa. Todo perfecto!
