I was working on a PS3 that needed a HDMI replacement. I saw some mixed reviews on this product and it was not as described with the fitting meant for the 2000 and 2500 series of PlayStation slims. I did see the picture differ from what I had but believed it was a slightly altered version of the HDMI, to my dismay I was wrong and it did not fit. Should have listened to the reviews.

Ground pins do not align with board, but you can make it work
The actual pins for the HDMI connection is correct, but there is only 2 ground pins when there should be 4. Also these ground pins do not align with the motherboard. I had to cut the ground pins with my flush cutters to make it fit, then solder a wire to the ground shield of the hdmi and into the board to secure it and properly ground it.HDMI works fine, but this is some ghetto rigging. I have yet to find a proper HDMI port for the Slim 2000 series.
