When we bought a new house with a septic system we were just learning the do's and don't. The plumber that pumped out the tank told us he uses this in his system at home. 1 bottle every season change (so 4 times a year) and he's never had any septic issues. It does smell horrible when you open it but thankfully you flush and they smell goes away in a few minutes. Shake the bottle good before opening. Pour in toilet and flush 2 times. The directions say to add to system when you will have limited water usage so we dump it in before we go to bed. Knock on wood we have had 0 septic issues in 5 years of using this product.

With everything in the house going to the septic tank, waste, bleach and anti bacterial soaps, it is a wonder any bacteria at all survives. Your tank just needs help. I started using The Roebic brand many years ago after I had my tank pumped. The man told me that my tank was very sick and was not processing waste as it should. I did some research and Roebic kept coming up. I started using on the recommended schedule. fast forward 5 years and I had my tank pumped and cleaned as suggested. The difference between how my tank was performing from last pumping to this one was like night and day. If you are on a septic tank, my advice is to get this product set up on an automatic delivery schedule and use it when it comes in. it could save you thousands in septic repairs or replacement.

Did not dissolve as well as I had hoped. Lots of fatty deposit left after multiple treatments. Am ambivalent a to whether it is effective or not.

I added this and they’re leach field liquid to try and help my leach field and I’ve seen no difference waste of money
