Ontel Pillow Pad Fold Away Multi-Angle Soft Tablet Stand, Gray

I purchased one of these locally. Loved this so much we ordered a second one for another family member while they were on sale. Then we ordered a 3rd one so one is in the car aways. I like that it folds more flat to take up less space, makes it easy to travel with or simply slip beside a chair. I like that the angle adjustments are unlimited. I had the original flippy and noticed when I lie on the couch, it’s too big and I can only adjust it into 3 positions. This fold away one lets me change the angle many more ways. Very handy device and perfect for saving space too. We use them for ipad, and for kindle. Guests who come over reach for them if they are using their tablets! I almost took off a star because they are notorious for not closing well. I decided it’s worth it for the benefits though. It also had some “off-gassing” smell so I put it in the laundry room a few days for the smell to go away. It seems worse in the one shipped in a flat plastic mailer and not as bad with the second one shipped in a box, very odd. The seller also has a coupon inside the paper label but no way to apply it on Amazon. Highly recommend these.

Wasn't sure about this lap stand for my 12.9" iPad Pro since it looked kinda bulky but I really like it. It seems sturdy and the hinge allows you to adjust it to any angle. I have a keyboard with a keypad that is not sturdy enough for my lap so this is perfect. I can actually put my iPad and keyboard on this thing for support. It does go over the edges but it works fine. When I sit on the couch at night, I'm usually just surfing the web so I don't need my keyboard unless I'm doing a lot of typing, this is perfect for just holding my iPad on my lap, it's comfy and not too heavy. And as a bonus, it has a storage area for my cords. It's not that deep so that's about all you can store in it, but it's a nice addition. What's also nice is you can fold it up and carry it around easily. Give this one a try for sure!

I really like this thing. Great idea and mostly well executed. The fabric is soft and won't scratch devices, the inner compartment is usable for cables and small stuff, and the infinite angles you can set it to makes this pillow very versatile. My one complaint, and maybe this is just the pillow I received, is that the inner compartment on my pillow is made unusable because the closing/locking mechanism doesn't work. The build tolerances apparently aren't quite small enough as the closing latch doesn't catch on the opposite side. I have tried multiple ways to see if it was just how I was closing it, but nothing worked and therefore the pillow can never be closed and contain what is in the inner compartment. Other than that, this thing is great, which is why I removed only one star.

I like this book pillow. It is more compact then the triangular pillows. It folds down, so is easy to carry or pack. Also has a little room for a few items like power cords, stylus, etc.

I just got this pad the other day. It has a very shallow storage area. You can probably get a notepad, pens in there. Maybe a kindle if you don't have a thick lid. Versatile. You can use it as a flat desk or angle. The back doesn't have a separate holder to keep it up, it just stays. It is comfortable on my lap and compatible with smaller electronics, like kindle, ipad, tablets. I wouldn't angle my laptop with it. My laptop is 17inches, though. I can sit it on it, though. It'll just hang over.

Very convenient for holding an iPad up while sitting down. The back adjusts to multiple angles so that you can put it at the best viewing angle. It is comfortable on the lap and has been very durable.

I really like this tablet stand because the angle is easily adjusted with a friction hinge. However, I noticed that it weighed very little and when I placed my iPad Mini vertically at the highest angle, it tipped over. So, I bought weighted vest bars and applied them with magnetic tape and put them in the USELESS storage space and fixed the WEIGHTLESS issue.

I kind of wondered if I wouid really use this a lot but I do. I'm on my tablet pretty constantly through the day, usually while sitting on my bed or on a sofa or in a hammock (I'm retired, lol), and this is so much more comfy than constantly trying to find a good angle with your knees propped up, or fiddling with your case's built-in stand which really only works on hard surfaces and tends to collapse when bumped. This puppy goes from bed to lap to table to countertop like a champ. You can bump it all day and it won't change angles or collapse on you! I take it with me traveling. I put it next to the bathtub if I'm going to have a nice long soak, or on the counter when cooking or cleaning. This is very chunky but probably less so that other tablet "pillows" and folds flat, which helps. The inner compartment is essentially useless since it's too small to store my tablet and anything in it might fall out since it's open all the time as you use it as a tablet stand. It should be redesigned with a flocked lining, deeper, an inner lid that stays closed while the top is opened, and big enough to store a 10 inch tablet inside it. All that extra protection against breaking when traveling would be awesome! But the reason to get this style is for a lap stand or bed friendly stand, and because you can adjust the angle however you want. I have used this every day since I bought it, and am constantly adjusting the angle without the hinges losing their ability to hold position. It stays at the angle you put it perfectly. The chunky lip kind of irritates me since the bottom edge of the tablet sinks into it making it hard to touch the bottom edge of the screen as well, but its not too bad and you get used to it. Doubtless it keeps things more secure that way, but I'd love to see another version of this with a bit less stuffing there. I pick this up and move it around with my tablet on it all the time and have not had an accident. But I always grab it in a way that I am holding both at the same time, and also my tablet has a fold back case on it, and the flocking on the inside of that case grips the fabric on this tablet stand --providing extra slip protection. It also makes a great safe stand for car travel as well, if you use your tablet to play audio while you drive. It will sit on the seat next to you or even right on top all the stuff you have piled on the seat during a long car trip. Obviously one can use it for one's phone as well, and this thing is wide enough for both my tablet and phone side by side if the tablet is in portrait position. If you are at all concerned about electronic devices/EMF's irradiating your body, well this provides some distance between your device and your lap which is probably just a sensible precaution if you use your devices as much as I do. All around one of the best purchases I have ever made for myself. I would give it MORE than 5 stars if I could.

Muy bien producto, la tela es muy suave, roene un espacio adentro por si necesitan guardar papeles, buena calidad y es muy firme como soporte ya que cuando lo levantas realmente se queda en esa posición, muy útil para el carro o para donde se necesite, como uso mucho mi tableta, la ocupo como soporte en cualquier lado. Muy recomendable.

Easy to use

Ojalá lo hubiera conocido antes, me encanta que lo puedes mover para el ángulo que necesites y cerrado ocupa poco espacio. Super recomendado, de las mejores soluciones para tener el iPad o tablet en la cama. Cabe bien hasta la tab S9 plus que es de 12", y creo que no habría problema con una un poco más grande.
