The installation instructions and wiring diagrams are easy to follow, even for a novice. That's the biggest plus for me. So far, this has been more reliable and better at controlling excessive AC kicks than the prior "smart" thermostat I had, which was the whole goal of purchasing this in the first place. Bottom line: if you want a sleek, simple, accurate thermostat that's one step more advanced than the old 1990's mechanical ones, this is the right choice.

Temperature is exactly accurate, I tested it against a separate room thermometer. Extremely easy to install and Extremely universal, I have an oil heater and it works great. Best deal for the price.

Replaced with exact one we had. Installation was easy. It is lighted with use. I have to use glasses due to small numbers though we’ve used this product for years I have gotten use to it through repetitive use. Battery back up is great with power outages.

Excellent product; easy to use; great visibility; simple. We are getting too carried away with technology nowadays. I am not sure who buys those ultimate, programmable thermostats that are becoming ubiquitous. Not being able to foresee the future and know what the weather will be next Thursday evening, I kind of like the ability to easily change the settings on my thermostat, without difficulty and quickly. I can adjust the setting and change from heat to AC in about 2 seconds, max, with this product. With the confusing and complicated programmable thermostats (read expensive) on the market, it takes close to a minute and then you find hours later that you missed a step in the algorithm and need to go back and reprogram it again. Another positive in favor of this product is the clear visibility of the screen. The combination of black numbers on a very light grey screen, is great for those of us with less than perfect vision. The backlit screen lights up as soon as you touch the buttons. I have three of these thermostats and each of them took no more than 20 minutes to install. You will need a tiny screwdriver and probably a pair of small needle nosed pliers.

These thermostats are my go to for new installs and changeouts. They are easily installed and customers like the well lit LED screen. I’ve installed a ton of these things and only have had one fail after a little more than a year after install. I’m satisfied with that for the cost and I always carry a box in my van. Only thing the product doesn’t come with batteries so I care a large pack of those as well. Great product overall though.

I bought this because our house had a really old Honeywell that FORCED you to set the date and time (???) And ALSO set 4 separate programs with time, heat/cool, and temperature before it would actually turn on the AC. I got fed up with the programming thing since I usually turn it on manually anyway and bought this one. The instructions were intimidating so I put it off for months to install it. Well the old one decided to stop working again and I was melting because of the heatwave and just figured what's the worst that can happen. It couldn't be easier. I just figured I'd look at the configuration of the current one and try to map it out. Everything is labeled. Y for yellow. G for green etc. It took me 5 minutes. Didn't need the instructions. Installed it and put the batteries in and viola. Works. No programming. Just.. turn it on. So simple, and now my house is cool. Best feature is the back light. The old one didn't have that and I didn't know how much I needed that. Bit of a long review for a thermostat but if you want something simple and manual without being forced to program times, this one is great. I'd recommend it for sure

Functional replacement for the analog Suburban thermostat in my RV. I installed a 12V DC to 3V step down transformer and soldered leads onto the battery terminals to hard wire it to the RV's 12V system to avoid needing to use two AAA batteries. Works great. Only wish they had a 12V DC version of this thing to make this kind of install simpler. Otherwise, it comes with clear and simple instructions and installs quite easily. Does both Celsius and Fahrenheit, it's easy to switch between them.

Very solid and functional thermostat, perfect for when your home is occupied at all times. I don't need an ecobee if I'm working from home and want a little boost in heat or Cooling. Very easy to use and to install

Expensive and took a long time to be delivered, but seems to be working well so far.

I have been buying these for about 4 years now for a hotel setting and I have never had 1 die. They are easy to read with big digital symbols and switches at the bottom that glide so easily.

Was easy enough to install by being careful with being sure wires went to correct location. Worked well for heating, but I had a problem with the cooling operation and had to call a HVAC technician. The previous thermostat was not installed correctly with a problem of wires in the furnace mismatched. Older programable thermostat was not reliable, maybe because of the wiring problem. The technician initially advised against using an unknown brand but he replaced it again after correcting wiring problem caused by the previous installation. saying it looked like a OK unit. The installation manual seems to be well written, but the operation manual is not very good and takes a bit of thinking to understand. Best feature over other brands is the large display of both room temperature and set temperature.
