Instant Cold Pack
I tried one of these and it got almost too cold to put directly on the skin, which is Great because you can always wrap it in a cloth when you first begin to use it and then after the cold starts to where off a bit you can put it directly on the skin. I have also found that if it starts to not feel as cold just shake it a little bit more and then re-apply. These are exactly what I was looking for. The instructions are to Shake and Squeeze, I am not sure if that is backwards or not but once you rupture the inside liquid bag by squeezing the bag I shook it up again really good. Works Great.

Awesome for My Game Day Medic Kit
Great price. Works exactly as advertised. Love having a bunch of these in a single box for a price way cheaper than buying them in a pharmacy or big box store. Little hard to squeeze to activate. Squeeze and smack-on-a-thigh works better. Ice cold within 15 seconds. Wish they were a little bit bigger - 6in x 8in would be better for use on a sports field. I used these in the first three soccer games where I took my medic bag for kicks to ankles, knee strikes to thighs, and bloody noses. Exactly what was needed. Will be definitely buying these again and again.

Works as described but wish it was colder
Ice packs are a little difficult to pop, but as someone wrote that is a good thing so they dont burst in shipping. They last a little more than 10 minutes. I wrapped it in a towel at first but could barely feel the coolness. After a few minutes I unwrapped it and put it directly on my skin (no danger of frostbite). It is not that cold like a reusable ice pack. It does the job. I used them 3 times a day for 2 days for a month old injury and the pain was gone, surprisingly.

Quick Relief When You Need It
Must-have for any first aid kit. It’s super easy to use—just squeeze, shake, and it’s ready to go! I’ve used it several times for bumps and bruises, and it provides quick, effective relief. The cold lasts long enough to help reduce swelling, and it’s convenient for on-the-go use. Definitely recommend for anyone in need of instant cold therapy

barely cools for a short time
I bought two cases of these because I was leading a group of 50 teens and chaperones on a trip. Our bus for the 8 hour drive didn't have AC, and the arrival of a heat wave meant predicted temps of 100+. This was supposed to be a convenient way to cool folks down, along with cooling towels, water sprayers, and lots of water to drink. I tested one when they were delivered, to make sure they would work well. The pack barely got cold. I didn't take a temperature, but it seriously was a very small change in temperature. Cool, yes, but nowhere near the temp I would expect for something intended to be used to ice a sprained ankle or whatnot. I carried it in my hand, no cover or towel between it and my skin, with no problem. It was not even as cool as water from my cold taps. Other icepacks like this I've used definitely got cold enough to make a barrier between pack and skin needed - almost painful to bare skin. Also, other packs stay cold for at least 20-30 minutes (which makes sense, since 20 minutes is a common recomendation for icing an injury). I timed this pack as well. Within 5 minutes, whatever coolness it had was basically gone. This test was done in our house, which is maintained at 68-70 degrees, and the boxes had been indoors for several hours, so it wasn't warm from being outside. These packs are pretty useless for any purpose I can think of.

Cheaper version and cheaper quality
Cheaper and smaller version than the Ace or other major brands. Overall the quality is worse: they are smaller, less cold, and last less time. Actually might be a good pack if you have children 5-8 or so. Otherwise, I’ll definitely just buy the better Ace instant packs again

a little tough to activate but they get cold very quickly.
I bought these to send to my husband who is currently deployed to Afghanistan. I needed something that would be small (easily portable, light, compact, etc. ) to provide a little relief from the heat. He just received the boxes I sent containing these ice packs. He did struggle a little to get the inner pouch to pop, but after a little brute force he got it to activate. He said the ice pack got very cold within seconds. It was still cold when we hung up our Skype call over 30 minutes later. I will write an update after he uses them out in the field, since obviously conditions in an air conditioned building will be very different from the conditions inside their trucks in 100°+ heat. Just a little disclaimer, we didn't buy these for first aid purposes, our main motivation to get these was to provide relief from the extreme heat they encounter by using them on the back of their necks and extremities and to be used in a portable cooler to keep their drinks cold while out in the field without needing to freeze traditional ice packs. An update will follow after he uses them in the field.
