This heat lamp is attractive and functional. The price was good. It seems to be durable, it has held up for a good while for me. It even made it in one piece through a move. Not hard to use, I’m using it with a deep heat projector and a dimming thermostat. It creates plenty of heat for my hognose.

Worked for our needs, but it did get bent fairly easily. It’s pretty small in diameter for the metal need to be a little bit careful with it. I would recommend it but only with that caveat.

I can't believe I never stupidly updated my lamp until now. I had always had great light bulbs from the lucky herp (Petsmart light bulbs would go out after barely a month) and knew I needed to switch my lamp too but somehow I forgot??? I had been stuck with his zoo med laboratories lamp for 3 years longer than I should have. I wish I didn't forget to update his lamp, I am so mad. I had no idea how much better it was to the point it fixed my number one grinding issue. They put a material in between the light bulb holder and the dome. I don't have to deal with screeching metal ever again if I accidentally unscrew it (and it I'm lucky, maybe it's even impossible to unscrew it.) I also do enjoy the little plastic cord protector, that was the main reason I finally replaced the old one was because it was short circuiting right in that crease area. Can't wait for his lights to turn on and see if he likes the slightly wider dome as well. I will be back later if I remember to confirm quality. Absolutely love the lucky herp <3

Only had this done for 5 months and the switch broke.
