Is there any difference between this package and the one that 4DTech sells?

Speaking for a 2016 Ford Fusion: It doesn’t seem that way. If anything, this one had an update module (in the armrest) w/ a usb-c outlet and of course the tools for removing the radio. (Screwdrivers and etc). It took me less than an hour to do the upgrade.

How do you get and install update nav/maps once they become outdated?

The Radio has WiFi capability. Just connect it to a WiFi network and allow the Download.

Would 2015 ford fusion titanium loose the reverse parking sensor audio alert when equipped with this product?

I have the 2012 Ford Edge and I have not noticed anything was not migrated to sync 3. The only complaint which is not a concern to me is the Treble Mid and Bass control which the slider always returns to the middle even I slide it to the right or Left.
