Yes you can. I wash my mop head in the mashine. I just gave away an old mop head that i had for 1 1/2 year it is still in great condition.

Is this safe to use on laminate flooring?

Yes, it's soft microfiber with no scrubbers on it. I use it on my laminate floors all the time.
