Blue Coffee Canister by BeanSafe Coffee Storage Solution - Stainless Steel Coffee Container with airtight Black Top

I now own 3 of these, so I must like them. They hold over a pound of coffee, probably 1.5 pounds, they look nice, come in different colors to keep different brands separate. The measuring spoon is a nice addition. I roast my own coffee and it goes straight into these containers to keep fresh.

This coffee storage container is awesome! As soon as you add the coffee to the container and put the lid on you see the valve swell, showing that it's working. Super cool. It has such great airtight fit and easy to close. Keeps coffee very fresh. I purchased the deep red color and it's gorgeous. Couldn't be happier with this product!

I'm not sure how the valve on this canister works, but I can tell you that our coffee, whether grounds or beans, always smells super-aromatic and fresh when we open it. It's nice and durable, too, and the metallic red is pretty. The reusable keurig-type grounds basket is a nice touch, though we use a french press so have not tried it yet.

Works great.... Wish it didn't have such a goofy bright orange color for the gasket, but it goes away in the pantry for us anyway

liked it so much, i bought a second in a different color, for a different grind/type of bean. Keeps my french press grind fresh, and holds a pound easily. I also like the scoop that comes with it. fits well on the bottom door of fridge.

This is a beautiful, beautiful coffee storage solution AND it's QUIRKY so read this before you buy. You will love it ... once you've figured out how to get it to work properly. What doesn't work? Snapping the four lid snaps down in such a way that they actually snap and STAY snapped, thereby retaining the seal! While I was figuring out what worked, I had to use a stong rubber-band to keep them in place. Could I have sent it back? Of course. But did I mention it's a "beautiful, beautiful coffee storage solution"? I'm into great beauty AND perfect functionality: I was determined to find a way to make it work. The problem is two-fold: first, the glass air nozzle in the top (which is what makes this unit work so well in keeping the coffee fresh) gets clogged fairly easily. So one needs to wash the lid, dry it completely, and then secure it on the top of the cannister. Second, even when the top is free of grounds (even 1 tiny little coffee ground will clog it), the lid has to be very quickly and very evenly dropped onto the top rim of the cannister itself in order for all four lid snaps to actually snap and stay snapped. So, now you know! Use it in good health!

Does just what is promised; keeps the coffee beans nice and fresh. I like it a lot and little glass ball is such a simple idea. Only concern is whether the plastic latches will hold up over time. If they don't would change my rating but they're working great now after a of couple months. It really nice and no filters to mess with.

I'm not sure how this is actually supposed to work; however, I walk by my canister frequently and I always smell the coffee. I only make coffee once per week, if that. Maybe my product is defective? There's no reason I should be smelling coffee beans in an "airtight" container if it's closed and untouched for at at least 7 days. Any ideas?
