This meter works well as a backup to keep in my toolbox and is also handy for working on guitar electronics. It even came with the battery pre-installed, so it was ready to use right out of the box.My only minor issue was that the probe cable terminals fit a little loosely in the meter. I fixed it easily by using a small screwdriver to slightly spread the metal prongs, which gave them a snug, secure fit. Other than that, it's been working just fine.

Bought this to chase down a charging problem on my travel trailer. The batteries weren't taking a charge on shore power, and I needed something to start isolating where the voltage was dropping out. This meter got me there. I checked the AC side coming in, then what was actually reaching the batteries on the DC side, and that's how I narrowed it down to a bad AC to DC converter rather than the batteries or the wiring.The probes feel solid, the dial has good detents so you're not second-guessing the range, and DC readings were steady and consistent. The backlight is a genuinely nice touch. A lot of my testing happened in a dim storage bay and under the trailer, and being able to read the screen without holding a flashlight in my teeth made the job a lot easier. It's light and small enough to live in the truck, so it's become my grab-and-go meter for quick checks.Five stars. It saved me from replacing two 6v deep cycle batteries that were actually fine.

This is really easy to use. I appreciate that I can check all my batteries so far. I’ve been using it for about two months and instead of just tossing batteries that I think aren’t working I know for sure if they’re working or not if they’re dead or not so easy to use simple purchase compact design. I can take it with me like if I go camping or somewhere like that and it’s very lightweight so I like it
