First: I'm not a dancer. I can't speak to the longevity or quality of these boots in a backstage/studio setting, or with the rigor of being constantly kicked off and pulled on. I bought these boots as house slippers last winter, and they're absolutely wonderful for keeping my feet warm, but not roasting. I wear them most of the day and evening, and they're comfortable enough to stay put even when I'm sitting cross-legged, or in some other ergonomically-unfortunate position at my computer. More than once, I've nearly gotten into bed with them on. Fellow wide foot folks, this is the boot for you. They're roomy enough for my wide feet, even with thick socks. I don't feel the least bit cramped or squeezed in, and I also don't feel like it's a too-big shoe. The fact that it's basically a tiny sleeping bag with a little padding on the bottom for your foot does help accommodate a large variety of footbeds. They stay put nicely, too. The strap over the top of the foot adjusts down to that perfect balance of holding the boot in place and easily kicking off/pulling on. I absolutely adore them, and am looking forward to another winter of shuffling around in them. There's really only two potential cons to these boots: First, there really isn't anything like a tread or proper sole to them. It doesn't matter much with it's intended use, or as house slippers, but these aren't what you want to slip on to pop outside and grab the mail. This does also mean that there really isn't any arch support to speak of in these boots. Second, the top cuff is too tight on my thick calves, and the Velcro closure is useless. It's not really a deal breaker for me; I just scoot them down a half inch or so from where they want to land and have to remember to do the Velcro up each time.

I wear a size 7 street shoe, size 5M ballet slipper and size 5/5.5M ghillie. I bought the Medium (shoe size 6-8) of these boots per the size chart, and they fit over my dance shoes comfortably without being overly large. They keep my feet warm without making them hot, and they are fine for wearing around the studio or stretching out my new ghillies. They do not have much of a sole to speak of (e.g., just fabric on the outer bottom), so I don't plan to wear them between the studio and my car lest they wear out too quickly. The inner sole is padded with a slab of foam or something, which I find to be a trip hazard, so you have to be careful wearing them if you plan to do a lot of walking. But I'm very happy with this purchase. They fit well for their intended purpose and are comfortable. $45 is a bit of a stretch for these, but for me it's an investment in my foot health, so it's worth the money Would recommend and purchase again.

I LOVE these warm-up boots. My feet are always cold in the winter (and often other times of the year). The past few winters, I have been heating up a bean bag in the microwave and putting it between the covers to try and warm up my feet at bed time. It usually works, but it can take time. This January, it was so bad that I developed chilblains. With these Bloch warm-up boots, my feet are actually HOT, something I haven't experienced much in the winter. I have been wearing them around the house constantly the past two weeks, and I go to bed with my feel already toasty warm. No more microwaving the bean bag! My normal street shoe size is 6.5. For those 'tweeners like me, I did order both sizes Small and Medium. The Small was just a tad too small -- the width was fine, but my toes bumped right up to the front of the boot toe box, which was very uncomfortable for me. I returned size Small. The Medium has more room, and my feet may slide a little every so often, but it's nothing that bothers me, and I have "princess and the pea" feet. Plus, I always wear mine with socks -- it is winter time ;-) !!! I wish I'd found these booties ages ago, but I sure am glad I have them now. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!!

Size: I wear between 8.5 and 9; I got a Large. I was replacing my down booties which had gotten old; I love these because they're just as warm if not warmer than the down. They have a flat comfy pad in the sole to protect against our hard floors, and a very good bottom exterior surface so I don't slip and can wear them outside. What I love most: there are adjustable, elastic straps to help the bootie stay at the ankle so I shuffle less when I wear them, and they are tall enough to go over the bottoms of my pant legs, with another adjustable elastic binding there at the top. Love these. I got blue because the color I wanted wasn't available in my size but it's very pretty. PS: I never write reviews. I only write if the product is truly great.

Just got these today to provide an extra set of warm booties used both indoors and outdoors. My old ones from 2016 are showing their age. One of my cats is outdoors living on my front porch, but receives the best of care and attention. I’ve seen thicker booties, but finding some that have a least a thin sole is not fun. Decided I would try these, as they looked OK, reviews are good, and price is reasonable. They are very comfortable, easy to get on, fit nicely, but with my unusually long feet it is hard to find shoes of any kind that meet all requirements. These are XL and yet unfortunately a thick insulated sock feels just a little bit snug. That is my only reason to knock off one star. An ordinary sock feels fine. At this writing I am sitting on my porch with the outdoor kitty and the temp is 32 degrees. So far, so good. I hope these booties will handle temps much lower than that. But time will tell.

My 16 year old dancer and her team loves these. It can be cold on the studios easy to get on and off.

My daughter wears a kids size 6 and I bought an adult medium. They fit with a little room to grow.

息子のバレエの発表会でこの手のシューズカバーを探していましたが、LサイズはあってもXLサイズはどこを探してもなく、やっとこちらで見つけました。 息子の発表会が21日で、間に合うかダメ元でしたが、お届け予定が16日から20日とギリギリだったのに、12日に届きました。（21日に使いたいと連絡したからなのかは分かりませんが、急いでくださったのだと思っています） 他の方のレビューでもありましたが、海外からの輸入で時間はかかりますが、商品が今どこを通過しているのか、その後はどのような行程で届くのか詳しく何度も連絡を下さったので、とても安心して待つことが出来ました。 リハ等で使用した感じは、履き心地も良く、アップもしやすいとのことです。 本当にありがとうございました。
