Does it work on Canadian Thistle?

Have never tried it on Canadian Thistle, but have never had it fail on anything I’ve used it on. I always dab it on fresh cut stems/branches of bushes, brush or plants that I’m trying to eliminate.

Will it kill a living tree by spraying in a cut of the bark?

Best to cut down tree and painting the fresh cut with tordon.

Can you use this on the off shoots without killing the main bush?

NO your bush will die. The best option for that is regular trimming
