Love this Product
This is my 2nd purchase of this magnetic oil drain plug....I bought this for my wife's car after purchasing the same one last year for my car. I use full synthetic oil and change our oil in our cars at 10,000 miles. Each time when I pull the plug to change the oil, I can see where the metal tip of the drain plug has caught the small metal filings. I assume the oil filter would catch the metal filings (I hope) but this drain plug sure works. Would definitely buy again if I had a 3rd car.

Strong pan magnet
I love that I am able to find random but cool things to add a little style to my truck! This oil drain plug actually includes at the end a powerful oil pan magnet to aid in removing any harmful metal flakes from recirculating back throughout the system. Made from what appears to be a very sturdy steel. The blue color one I ordered was very brilliant and the quality of the threads and head are top notch in my opinion and just for posture this is coming from a 15 year master mechanic. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a little flare everywhere lol.

I put these in every engine I own!!!!
It's like a secondary oil filter. I once drain oil in a foxbody I had bought new way back and found a small washer on the end of the magnet that was probably dropped in manufacturing! Probably save my motor. Worth every penny!!!

Well made, looks great, magnet on the end ... WHAT?!?!?! SO AWESOME of an idea. Any and all ways to get rid of metal shavings is well worth it. Perfect swap out for an oil pan bolt that had stripped.

Order arrived but with only 1 washer and not 3 as was listed!
The description says 3 washer and only one was in the package! The only reason I bought this was because of the advertised 3 washers being included!
